Really impressed with the XENEON EDGE. I’ve mounted it inside my dual RTX 5090 AI workstation as a dedicated system dashboard, showing GPU temperatures, power draw, CPU, RAM and NVMe usage in real time. It’s perfect for keeping an eye on the system while running long AI workloads without needing another monitor. The display is bright, sharp and easy to read, and it looks fantastic built into the case. I don’t really use the touchscreen since it’s mounted internally, but as a compact monitoring display, it’s exactly what I wanted.
It's touch screen when it works and app mode even less of the time. The corsair/edge usb connection breaks when the pc outs the displays to sleep and struggles to recover if it does at all. Often the only recovery is to reboot the pc. I've troubleshot the issue in depth including a full in depth capture and analysis using openAI codex. I have uninstalled and done a VERIFIED clean(no remnants) install of corsair iCUE, verified all firmware amd drivers are up to date. Verified all cables, including new cables to rule out the default cables. The result is a custom built .exe that over-rules any windows settings that prevent ANY of my displays from sleeping.
I bought this a few months ago, and have loved it so far. It works great as a "regular" monitor for background things, but also is nice to have the widgets screen. I use it under my main monitor. My only complaint is the lack of truly "useful" widgets, at least for me. Biggest one is Discord - it would be ideal to be able to have Discord chat there.
This screen works how you would expect. The only drawback is iCUE. Nothing like not being able to use the screen after updating the software and an RMA.
This is a great tertiary monitor. I use it mainly for work, teams/outlook. Great resolution. I wish I could swap inputs while both dp and USBC have separate output devices.
Overall I'm pretty happy with the Edge. Screen resolution and responsiveness is really good. The mounting options are flexible enough that you can set it up anywhere pretty much and the standard mounting bolts mean you can 3d print your own stand. It's Achilles heel is unfortunately the software. iCue is quirky enough on it's own but with the Edge it's worse. My cursor frequently gets stuck on the display with no way to get it off short of using windows shortcuts to change my display settings to mirror screen then back to extend. The apps available could be more varied and/or useful as well.
Its a cool add to the desk, but still dont see what it really does for me. So many limitations, and limited widgets. I think there are a lot of newer products coming out. This is really just a nicety.
