This is a new ge microwave oven, a counter top with child lock. It’s a profile design, and we’re really happy with it.

Horrible controls

This is almost the only brand and model that really fits the cut-out where my prior GE profile microwave was.
I'm returning it anyway. My wife and I loathe it. The buttons are cramped and there doesn't seem to be any dead space between the buttons. The result is that it's hard to hit the correct button. (But, if you insist on buying this, one trick is to press slightly below the numbers.) On a more minor note, the gray interior really needs a brighter bulb - the interior is much dimmer than most microwaves.
I don't want to have to get my cabinet cut to fit a different model, but that's better than living with this clunker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
