Loud and can't be muted - functions great though

Does all the things a microwave should. BUT this model has removed the ability to mute the outrageously loud button and finish beeps and squeals. I called support, begged for hacks to silence it. None available. So your neighbors/coworkers within a mile radius may hate you for this one. Other than that, it's huge, powerful, works great and it looks as pretty as a (screaming) peacock!

The microwave was as projected. It doesn't quite match the old unit but is close enough to compliment the other built in components. Unfortunately the a new trim kit was necessary and I had to increase the opening by an inch compared to the previous GE built-in. No real issues installing but I would recommend a dry fit so it is easier to locate screws to brackets. The only issue we has to our two previous models was the magnetrons kept failing and arcing.

So far so good! This is my second GE microwave. The only feature I do not care for is the child lock but I’m glad I’m able to turn that feature off.

Easy to install . Used friendly new look inside. Only one thing the dose Not have and I was expecting to have LED lights inside cool blue. But maybe the next one

Model and brand not reliable

Lasted only two years and the previous model only lasted six. Screen went black and won’t turn on and I’m truly at my wits end with this model of microwave. Reaching out to GE only provided the run around.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sensor heating works!

Best part about the machine is the one-touch sensor heating function. It works well for most food items and determines the optimal amount of time to heat the food. We have had a few cases where there is too little food or something that requires less than a minute to warm up. In those cases, the microwave doesn't manage to sense the amount of time needed. Microwave is spacious and can fit large containers. We would have preferred a clean look instead of saying "Profile" on the front. We've used the microwave for less than a month at this point.
