The tech that came out to the house showed me the proper way to operate the machine. Thank you so much. He deserves a 5 out of 5 stars.

Great product. Just need a manual!

It takes a few hours, but it's better than me forgetting clothes in the washer for a day or more and having to run them again! I also love loading 40 loads of detergent at once. Just toss the clothes in over the days and punch a button when you're ready to go.
Are the clothes damp after the dry cycle? Sometimes, but no more than my old dryer on a normal day.
Does the moisture vent into the room? Yes, but it seems to be slow & over the hours, so it is not problematic.
My biggest complaint is that there is no manual. There's a 'quick start' but that's it. No description about what the operating panel buttons & lights do. I chatted with Whirlpool and the agents has the same info as me. This is an easy fix, but someone at Whirlpool just has to do it!

Lint is horrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine functions as it should. Cycle buttons and so forth are easy to use. The only negative I have is the collection of lint in the drum and surrounding boot is insane. I have tried the Affresh tablets to clean it, but does not do a very good job. I also have the wipes and it is a very time consuming cleaning process, which if I had of known at the time of purchase I would not have bought this machine. You claimed the lint would go down the drain with the drain cycle, but it is far from that. Cleaning the pump filter is a pain also. Perhaps there should have been or this machine should come equipped with a lint screen like other all in one combos.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the all-in-one washer dryer comb for years. I needed to get a new one and this is my first Whirlpool one. Having had over a decade of experience with the combo. Many people will say, "it doesn't dry" or "it takes too long to dry" I say to them, be patient and sometimes, all your clothes need is a good shake when you take them out, and the steam will come right off that makes your garments feel wet. My clothes come out fresh and dry.

How did this appliance get approved for sale?

The concept behind having a single machine to wash and dryer appealed to us as part of a home reno that we recently completed where laundry space became limited. Add that we have/had whirlpool appliances and this purchase was an easy one. That's where the easy ended. This machine does not dry properly after taking four hours to wash and "dry" one small load. Forget washing sheets or towels. As well, it is a pain to clean out the bottom filter as even following the instructions you will have water all over the floor. We now only use this appliance's quick wash function on sunny days when we can dry the load on the clothesline which should be fun come winter as we are in Northern Canada.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Who thought that filter up?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the ability to wash and dry in one unit. What I don’t like is the filter part of it. Whoever designed this was not thinking of an older person. You have to get on the floor and work at getting the drawer open and then try and get the water out without it getting all over your floor. Someone was not thinking. I am also confused on how may loads i can do until i have to empty the filter and get the excess water out. The owner’s manual doesn’t help much either

It does not dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does not dry. It is noisier than advertised. We have tried different types of loads but all come out wet So it is not what we expected from the Whirlpool product! Very disappointed
