Washes well... but drying takes forever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this last December it's been acting up and now it went out. The whirlpool company I had to call personally because the online scheduling wouldn't work for how rural we are. I wish I had my second hand cheap 50 set I picked up. We paid approx 1500 and now we've gone from 4=19 until now because rhe part that broke is on backorder. So I've been washing by hand nad hanging my whole families clothes out to dry on a line. Too much work. This should have lasted a life time not 4 months! Thank god we paid cash, I feel bad for someone if they buy on credit. The part to replace is around 400! Which the warranty only covers for 12 mo after the purchase date.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washer pump plugs all the tine

We purchased this unit with high hopes. But unfortunately over the least three months I have spend hours draining it by hand when I get a pump code. I do understand that having animals can cause more hair to acclimate, but every week is ridiculous. And my biggest problem is the location of the drain with the soap dispenser. Once you remove the dispenser try the drain tube it too short and recessed in and too close to the floor to empty. It has flooded my laundry more often then not. Definitely poor design for the drain location.

Do not buy this machine

I bought this a year ago, it's been the most regretful purchase I've ever made. So many issues pop up, it never fully dries anything, and this is a horrible purchase for a house with more than 1 person living in it. It is constantly having draining issues, locking your clothes inside for hours on end, even when cleaned and maintained after every load of laundry. This product is not worth the price or the headache.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Used once and then shut off and won't turn back on

We just received this today after waiting a month to get it. It started running, and then it just shut off and won't turn on. It's completely locked up. We can't take the clothes out of the drum. Nothing is tripped, we plugged something else into the outlet and it worked.

Perfect for small home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a month ago and I really like it so far, it is perfect for me as a single person. It took a bit of playing with it to figure out the settings, but after a few washing I have it down. The only thing I don't like is that there is no lint trap and if you have pets you have 5o clean the filter often ( every 2-3 loads), it isn't difficult but it is time consuming, due to location.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would not heat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using the unit it did the wash and shut off without drying. Tried again same thing. Tried to dry only and could not choose it. Called Whirlpool and was on the phone for about a half hour and only was told to do the same as what I had already done. Whirlpool set up a visit from some shop that was to far away to get to my location. The shop was given my home address and not where I told Whirlpool the unit is. So had to call Whirlpool again and I'm now waiting to talk to someone about my problem. The proper steps are not spelled out in the paperwork to get the unit to do what you want. No video on line shows a step by step sequence that gets the job done.
