Load #4 disaster

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design flaw or not

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are aspects of this all-in-one washer/dryer I really like and then there's the issues. The good things include all the wahing options, the xl soap dispenser, and the ability to extend the drying time if I'm not around to take the close out right after the dry cycle ends. I love that feature.
As much as I like the drying feature there's a problem with the fact that there's nowhere for the steam to go since it ventless and despite having ventilation in the location of my brand new appliance, condensation builds up around the upper detergent dispenser and drips water along the side of the unit down under the unit, then to the floor. This problem isn't sustainable long term. Because it's new and under warranty, I have a Whirlpool repair business rep coming to see if this issue can be fixed or not. If so, I'm a happy camper, if not it's gotta go. Fingers crossed! I'll update after my appointment.

It's a dud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in November, took delivery December 2, 2023. It didn't work. Finally got a technician a week later and he said it was DOA. Still waiting for a replacement January 16. 2024

Hard to clean gasket of lint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not like the having to wipe out the gasket with a Clorox wipe to get rid of the lint build up. The lint rolls around and it is hard to pick off the gasket. I have had the all in one for about 2 weeks and I do like how it washes and dries my clothes. There are just 2 of us so I must say that this is not a good family size washer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The tech that came out to the house showed me the proper way to operate the machine. Thank you so much. He deserves a 5 out of 5 stars.

Great product. Just need a manual!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washes and dries as advertised. It takes a few hours, but it's better than me forgetting clothes in the washer for a day or more and having to run them again! I also love loading 40 loads of detergent at once. Just toss the clothes in over the days and punch a button when you're ready to go.
Are the clothes damp after the dry cycle? Sometimes, but no more than my old dryer on a normal day.
Does the moisture vent into the room? Yes, but it seems to be slow & over the hours, so it is not problematic.
My biggest complaint is that there is no manual. There's a 'quick start' but that's it. No description about what the operating panel buttons & lights do. I chatted with Whirlpool and the agents has the same info as me. This is an easy fix, but someone at Whirlpool just has to do it!
