Not happy at all

The idea sounded great for an all in one unit. Saves space and It looks nice but that's about it. It takes roughly 5 hours to wash and dry 1 load which wasn't the end of the world since we do our laundry at night but since it's ventless that means most the lint stays in the washer as the rest goes down the drain constantly clogging. In order to unclog, the filter hole is at the bottom of the unit in a very tight spot. You got big hands forget it, you won't be able to get to it. Once you remove the filter cap to unclog expect 2 gallons of water to rush out all over the floor so have a shop vac ready. It's a horrible design and will ruin your floor if it's not on concrete directly over a drain. The drain filter clogs completely every 2 load. Your clothe will come out covered in lint which is very difficult to remove and annoying. Would not recommend, and this product as it needs to be redesigned with the drain filter hole in a more accessible location along with an inverted cap so the water doesn't pour out on the floor. There is a drain catch tray that is useless as the edges stick up half an inch and quickly overflows. If your thinking about this product don't buy it unless you want thousands in damages. Not to mention using this washer is a 3 min procedure. They make a very simple process so difficult. If your clothe aren't dry you can't just use the dry cycle to finish them, the entire wash process begins again so have your clothe line ready as well. This unit has been such a headache and we'll end up going back to separate units.
If you must buy this unit because you think it will ease your life make sure you elevate it at least 2 feet off the floor with a huge water pan underneath to prevent damage while you unclog it. If the drain and lint filter system was better designed it has potential to be a great unit.

Perfect for small home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a month ago and I really like it so far, it is perfect for me as a single person. It took a bit of playing with it to figure out the settings, but after a few washing I have it down. The only thing I don't like is that there is no lint trap and if you have pets you have 5o clean the filter often ( every 2-3 loads), it isn't difficult but it is time consuming, due to location.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased online 10/04. Delivered 1104. My 4th repair attempt since delivery, 12/05. I paid for & was delivered a damaged unit & all Whirlpool wants to do is keep sending repair guys. I have to use vacation days every time.

I love my combo washer dryer But they need a (better lint management system) too much lint build up on door gasket and hard to remove. Otherwise does a great job.

Great new way to do laundry

We are a family of 4 and needed a solution to free up our weekends from hours of laundry. When our washer went Kaput our neighbor recommended we try this machine. You will love this machine by maximizing it benefits and that means improving the old fashioned laundry procedure No more Saturday laundry day staying home waiting to change loads from washer to dryer. We load a wash/dry before we leave for work and return home to a clean dry load fresh due to the stay fresh option. Load a wash/dry before going to bed and wake up to clean dry clothes. Have a day full of chores and soccer games to attend.. no problem load a go and come hope to yep you got it clean dry clothes. Clothes come clean and dry every time. We have noticed a savings in electric cost by avoiding using our 220 volt electric dryer. Machine is super quiet and large. Just be sure not to over fill it if you want good drying results. Totally recommend this product

Washer pump plugs all the tine

We purchased this unit with high hopes. But unfortunately over the least three months I have spend hours draining it by hand when I get a pump code. I do understand that having animals can cause more hair to acclimate, but every week is ridiculous. And my biggest problem is the location of the drain with the soap dispenser. Once you remove the dispenser try the drain tube it too short and recessed in and too close to the floor to empty. It has flooded my laundry more often then not. Definitely poor design for the drain location.
