EXPENSIVE MISTAKE

Wish I'd never purchased this combo washer/dryer...but stuck with it at the price I paid...the only thing I like about it...is the way it looks..DO NOT PURCHASE

I had this delivered 2 days ago and it's been nothing but a headache
Day 1 I did 1 load of laundry and got and error code for the filter. It's was blocked with hair and lint. Solid. 2nd load didn't stop drying for 6 hrs so I hot tumbled a load of t-shirts until it shut down. I have since removed the bottom drawer and have to check the trap after each load.
Day 2 I have a massive flood! Water is shooting out of the dispenser on the top front of the unit
To make things even better it's Saturday and whirlpool doesn't open until Monday.

Very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed in overall performance. Does not dry well at all and this is even with small loads. The owners manual was the most unhelpful manual I have ever seen. It didn’t give any useful information- you should consider writing a new one. Sorry for the negative review- I’ve never had to write one before.

Condensing Drying Technology, typically found in all-in-one washer/dryer units, results in longer drying times compared to vented dryers, though it offers the convenience of not transferring laundry.
How Condensing Drying Works
A 1500W heater warms the air in the drum.
The heated air causes moisture in the wet laundry to evaporate.
Instead of being vented, the moist air is passed through a water-cooled condenser, where the moisture turns into water.
This condensed water is then drained out via the same drain hose used by the washer.
A small amount of moist air may be pumped back into the room.
Tips for Faster Drying & Best Performance
Load Size: Load the drum to half full or less, especially when using the unit for both washing and drying. A large, heavy load will not dry quickly.
Cycle Selection:
Use "Regular" for the drying cycle and "Quick" for the "How to Dry" setting.
Use Auto-Drying instead of Timed Drying, and select "Damp Dry" or "Dry" (avoiding "Extra Dry").
Spin Speed: Select "Extra Fast" spin speed during the wash phase.
Operation: Do not open the door during the drying cycle.
Installation (If in a Closet): Closet doors must have ventilation openings at the top and bottom. Ensure the unit has minimum air space: 3" in front, 1" on the sides, and 4" in the rear (check Installation Instructions for specifics).

Horrible Product

The door is constantly locking, keeping me from getting to my own laundry. I also have to take it apart and vacuum it out every other load because the thing that catches lint is so small, it gets clogged up after two loads. This is hands down the most infuriating, useless product I think I’ve ever had to deal with. The decision to put the lint trap in the bottom behind a tray you have to take off was idiotic and whoever designed it should be fired. Horrible product and I can’t wait to replace it with something that’s actually effective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dry cycle does not always dry the clothes in one cycle, and the machine really any pet hair stick to the inside of the machine which needs to be cleaned after every cycle. Uses more water and electricity which is not acceptable for going from separate washer and dryer to the combo washer dryer in one. I wish we had purchased a separate washer and dryer for the amount of money we paid for the combo.
