Stupidest piece of machinery to ever exist

I’m writing this at 4 in the morning during a 3 hour battle with this thing. I was unfortunately an unassuming victim of whirlpool. I was stuck with this stupid thing because my apartment complex decided to give me the unit with the most incredibly ridiculously designed washer. I don’t care about 2 in 1. But I was forced into this life. This thing constantly has error messages. I have never successfully done a load of laundry where there wasn’t at least 4 hiccups. It averages a time of 7 hours. It has lasted longer. We had to redry our bed sheets for 3 days once. Just resetting over and over. The door randomly locks our clothes in it. We cannot open it. We have to unplug the entire unit, and wait for like 10 minutes, plug it back in and hope to god it works. Ive been complaining about this machine since the day I moved in. It has no upside. The idea of starting your laundry at night and waking up with your work clothes clean and warm is out the window when you have to wake up every two hours to reset it due to an error code. This has been one of the most stressful parts of me and my girlfriends lives the past 6 months. Which says a lot. It’s literally laundry. Take this thing off of the market. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THIS. If this is the first and only time you listen to a review, let it be this one. I have to be up for work in 4 hours. I am exhausted. I can’t sit here playing with this MACHINE when it’s ONLY JOB is to do laundry. Here’s to hoping I wake up to the miracle of dry clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with the purchase. There are only two of us in the house and the convenience of not having to transfer wet clothes from washer to dry is great. The items washed come out perfect and the drying times with the ventless dryer are very good. The biggest issue we have had is with the user documentation. The instruction sheet has a lot of information but is not written with enough detail that allows you to easily get started. In particular, changing the mode from Load and Go, Wash and Dry, the instructions say to select "How to Wash" but this already defaults to Load and Go and if we had known just reselecting the "How to Wash" to change the mode after a previous load, that would have saved us some time. Other than the learning cure of the setup, we are very pleased.

This thing improved our lives!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put this in a spare closet in our bedroom. The bathroom was on the other side of the wall so it was very easy to install. In the past we had to lug all of our laundry up and down the janky stairs to the basement. Now we just go a few steps across the bedroom. We are living the dream! It is even so quiet I can sleep while it is running. I love this thing.

Learning curve/adjustment period, but overall good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for model WFC682CLW. It works pretty well. It does seem like it could use a better lint trapping system, as others have noted. We use a high efficiency powdered detergent. Unfortuantely, you cannot just fill that up and forget about it for a while like you can with liquid detergent. Additionally, the washer has complained for several loads that there is too much suds. It doesn't look like there is so I'm not sure if that's really the issue or something else. That causes it to do more rinse cycles. I think one load, washed and dried took 6 hours, several have taken 5, most take around 4. It is convenient though, throw a load in in the morning, one early evening, and another when you go to bed and it keeps up fairly well with our family of 4.

Takes too long to wash and dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Information provided with the appliance was very incomplete...had to call for service just to get it running the first time. Normal load takes around 3 hours to wash and dry. Not satisfied with the appliance at all.
