Good for small spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hose to drain the washer prior to cleaning it out is so short it lets water out all over the floor, and it's hard to reach the drain plug to clean it out . Getting into the area they are at is also a bit of a chore due to the design of the drawer. You can expect a load of clothes to take a couple of hours at the least and up to four if they are heavy or a fuller load. The Load-and-Go feature is useless since the fabric softener dispenser is not included or available for sale anywhere. Vents into your house so it warms it up - a lot. Spins out during drying. Would not recommend unless like me you have limited space and don't want to use 220 to power your dryer. It does get your clothes clean, but takes forever to dry them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pros and Cons, generally does a good job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my old reliable washer and dryer because I needed the space. I researched the all-in-ones and this one was given great ratings. It has taken some getting used to, but I like the convenience and the space-saving. Figureing out the dry only took some time and it's mostly trial and error right now. My suggestions to others buying this machine and others like it: small loads, check the drain filter in the bottom of the machine FREQUENTLY, after each wash if you are washing something with a lot of lint or pet hair and put towels down in around the drain plug when you take it out because it leaks on the floor. Wipe out the lint around the door frequently. The extra humidity and heat is a bonus for the house in the winter. Not so sure how this will work in the summer. My loads don't take 5 or 6 hours, they take about 2 and it's nice to come home from work with a load washed and dried and not musty and stinky in the washer. It seems like a very well-built appliance. Too bad no colors. I miss my red machines :-(
