[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this washer/dryer combo for about a month. There is a learning curve but so far it’s doing what it should. In the summer I’m going to wish there was a “wash only” cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Labor saving

We bought because it fitted in an alcove In kitchen, and now all laundry is done on main floor , eliminating most of the trips that had to be made up and down basement stairs .It also appears to be very efficient on hydro use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible.

Highly recommend avoiding this. Drying takes forever and there is so much lint inside the machine after each use. We have to do the full cycle and a cycle of just drying to just get a completed load of laundry done. They say to clean the filter once a month and it has already been clogged after a week's use. When you go to clean the filter a pool of water will gush all over your floor. Even if it's drained properly after use and try to do standard maintenance, there is still water coming out from the bottom. I never write a review on products and I am very adaptable to most products, but this product shouldn't even be offered on the market.

Poor instructions

WHY DID I PURCHACE THIS??????

I bought this combo August 8th. There seems to always bee an error code. It takes foooorrrrever to dry. It will stay at 16 minutes for hours. It will lock and give an error code. Recently the door doesn't latch. Every time you change the lint catcher it floods the house.
I called to get service and they scheduled me with a company but they will not honor my appointment set by whirlpool so now im out of a washer/dryer for almost 2 weeks before someone can get to it. They will tell you to not speak when you are explaining circumstances. Over all it has been a terrible experience. It is not returnable after 15 days. Im stuck with this appliance with never ending issues. Ive had it for less than 60 days. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STEER CLEAR OF THIS APPLIANCE. You will regret this purchace!!!!!!! Its almost like a cruel joke. 2 in 1 more like 1/2 trying to be 1. if you have a bulky item ...for example a dog bed. IT WILL TAKE 4 HR IF NOTHING GOES WRONG. MAYBEE 2 DAYS. I would be embarrassed to have my name on this washing machine. Whirlpool.... what were you thinking????
Falser advertising, False promises, False hope. I would give it ZERO STARS IF I COULD. 1500 with tax.... id rather wash my clothes by hand and hang dry... takes the same amount of time.

Power button

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Power button Didn’t even turn on. There is a flaw in it that if you hit the control lock 3 seconds, the power button locks as do all the control panels. Our lock button didn’t turn off so it would not allow you to turn on the power button.
