Great feature's & capacity

I love my combo washer dryer But they need a (better lint management system) too much lint build up on door gasket and hard to remove. Otherwise does a great job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am extremely happy with the unit. I had read other reviews complaining about the sound and the time it takes to wash and dry. All hogwash, it’s extremely quiet and the time it takes to wash and dry is comparable to two units timeline for completion. My only complaint is the venting of the air in the back of the unit. They really need to offer a ventilation system that hook up to some sort of containment unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer and dryer unit had me thinking I made a great investment but I was wrong. I'm having problems after problems that the problems and I just bought it.. It's taking more than 3 hours to wash my clothes and dry them and it giving me errors and errors and errors I'm fed up with it and I want my money back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not for pets or those without a sense of adventure

I had been so excited for this unit! When it finally came, after several local delivery issues, we had to convert the electric available in our laundry corner (hadn't expected that, but it makes sense). Then we finally got to use it, and 6 cycles in, it's not performing. We tried all of the recommended maintenance, which is hard to do in our tiny laundry closet, so I would actually not recommend putting this unit in a small space. Of course, there's no lint catch, so all of the pet hair is everywhere.The timer for the dry cycle gets stuck on a time, we notice 16 minutes a lot, and then stays there for 45 minutes. When I finally rescue my clothes, apparently 16 minutes away from being dry, they are already well dry, even hot, so I am worried about every setting the unit and leaving the house, what if it just runs forever? That's not energy efficient at all. The documentation manuals is the adventurous part, a scant dozen pages mostly about custom installation quirks, and has no guide to the cycles or using the unit at all. Really let down all around.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not happy at all

The idea sounded great for an all in one unit. Saves space and It looks nice but that's about it. It takes roughly 5 hours to wash and dry 1 load which wasn't the end of the world since we do our laundry at night but since it's ventless that means most the lint stays in the washer as the rest goes down the drain constantly clogging. In order to unclog, the filter hole is at the bottom of the unit in a very tight spot. You got big hands forget it, you won't be able to get to it. Once you remove the filter cap to unclog expect 2 gallons of water to rush out all over the floor so have a shop vac ready. It's a horrible design and will ruin your floor if it's not on concrete directly over a drain. The drain filter clogs completely every 2 load. Your clothe will come out covered in lint which is very difficult to remove and annoying. Would not recommend, and this product as it needs to be redesigned with the drain filter hole in a more accessible location along with an inverted cap so the water doesn't pour out on the floor. There is a drain catch tray that is useless as the edges stick up half an inch and quickly overflows. If your thinking about this product don't buy it unless you want thousands in damages. Not to mention using this washer is a 3 min procedure. They make a very simple process so difficult. If your clothe aren't dry you can't just use the dry cycle to finish them, the entire wash process begins again so have your clothe line ready as well. This unit has been such a headache and we'll end up going back to separate units.
If you must buy this unit because you think it will ease your life make sure you elevate it at least 2 feet off the floor with a huge water pan underneath to prevent damage while you unclog it. If the drain and lint filter system was better designed it has potential to be a great unit.

Very Dissatisfied

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine does not manage a household with shedding pets at all. No matter how thoroughly I clean the door gasket, the machine clogs and throws error codes. The under machine drain and filter are very poorly placed as the hose does not even extend beyond the frame of the machine to facilitate collecting the water. The first time, a week and a half into use, the drawer housing the drain broke when my husband went to perform the maintenance. With the broken drawer, we were not able open again to perform maintenance again. Service tech came out… pulled large handfuls of fur out of the drains. I sure wish the sales rep had this information… we spent a lab awful lot of money for the machine to not work for us.

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a small closet space for laundry and were so happy to buy this combo. But:
1-Water fills up and overflows the soap dispenser, and runs down the front and side of the machine. It also flows through the inside of the machine and drips out the bottom of the back onto the floor. Whirlpool suggested the technician replace the heater duct and condenser duct channels, but it did not help.
2-Constant Lo FL errors and beeps causing the machine to stop and lock up. Happens on both wash and dry cycles, whether the machine is calling for water or not. The only thing you can do is stop it and start over, turning a 3 hour wash time into a 6-9 hour wash, depending on how many times you have to restart.
3-Draining the hose and cleaning the filter is painful. I am a senior, I cannot be working down on the floor like that. And why is there so much water to be drained anyway?
4-User manual has no information, no explanations of error codes or suggestions for correcting them. A complete lack of information.
5-The only thing I like is the small amount of space it takes up! I have only had the unit for 2 weeks, and have had problems right from the start.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
