Nice cooktop. Terrible instructions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop works well after you find out how to actually use it. They should eliminate the two step selection plus heating process though. It causes a wrong burner to be raised or lowered when you are in a hurry.
Also, it's a new technology and has different way of using it compared to traditional gas or electric cooktops. Surprisingly Samsung didn't bother to provide basic operating instructions! Once you get it, the cooktop heats up very fast and uniform. Although many pots need to be changed to be flat bottom. The surface is matte, so the scratches are less and show less. On the other hand, because of matte surface it looks a bit old right out of the box. Guess that's a tradeoff if you don't like to see many scratches.

Fast cooking and easy to clean induction stove top

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fast heat up of pots and very easy to cleanup surface. Have to be careful with selecting too high a heat - since fast heating can cause food to burn. Anti scratch surface make cleaning easier even when food is spilled.

It’s a Beauty!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install. Classic, uncluttered surface. Pebbled glass wipes streak free with little effort. Touch controls take a little self-training but work very well. Like the 15 heat settings for each element. It’s early days but am feeling very good about this purchase.

It took a little while to be able to figure out how to use it, but as I learn more, I find out more features that can be useful. The material seems very tough and good for long term use.
