Not your traditional cleansing tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To begin with I’m entirely inexperienced with skincare devices and LED light therapy. And more specifically the PMD brand. But I am pretty knowledgeable about these types of bristled cleansing tools and their benefits but also downsides. Especially as someone who deals with inflammatory skin conditions such as hormonal acne & mild eczema plus generally having combo-oily sensitive acne prone skin type.Now I’m not super knowledgeable about the scientific facts regarding both LED Light Therapies, Red and Blue—but I have heard about its use for anti-aging means, acne treatments and targeting PIH and acne scarring. Which is inclusive of namely PIH and acne scarring; both of which I’ve dealt with from my entire teen-hood to now in my late 20s. And now I want to explore the possible benefits of LED therapy on these conditions.Upon opening the pmd clean Redvolution device it came in a clear shape molded case. There are the tiny tanning like goggles+ usb cable, no block though which is just my personal pet peeve for electronic devices in this era lol. Anyways they rec rinsing your face with warm water. If you use this to oil cleanse you can skip that. I didn’t but I also let my face dry. I used this tool when I’d oil cleanse because I’d only use this once a day. As I only oil cleanse at night when I would wear sunscreen.Speaking of exfoliating there are two modes for the pmd clean Redvolution. Mode 1 has a low humming buzz and mode 2 is definitely akin to an electronic toothbrush. It’s loud and if you have any auditory/sensorial sensitives the cleaning device is not an everyday thing, and the red light can be used on days you want relief from the buzzing + bristles fluttering on your skin. Which is what I did.Some obvious but necessary things user errors I didn’t consider; keep your hair out of the way. I messed up a couple times on this because if you’re like me with a hairy hairline. Skincare getting on your edges/sideburns/baby hairs happens often. And I had to spend an hour cleaning this with Castile soap thrice just to get out little hairs from when I accidentally bumped my edges. Using this as I did for the oil cleanser in my double cleansing. It really smoothed my skin and reduced the texture on my chin/jowls. The summer means I’m using the AC a lot and I get dry air on my skin which = dehydration. My skin was really controlled with flakes and my flares were smooth! For the red light portion I used this weekly only because as I said I have sensitive skin. And I had to see if my skin could take such first. So I was spending more time testing it on my skin. And didn’t get daily use of this portion to see any results on my PIH. But testing it was interesting but it did emit the similar hum as cleansing mode 1. With prolonged use I do wonder how it’ll step up to dealing with my hyperpigmentation on my medium deep brown skin with my hyperpigmentation that is darker. As with my testing phase I didn’t see any difference in acne scars reduction.

We appreciate your extensive review. Red light therapy (low levels) can potentially help reduce inflammation, minimize fine lines and wrinkles and in some cases, may even help with acne scars and sun damage. The Clean Redvolution is a great option for anti-aging of the skin.

A new staple in my skincare routine!

The product is a dual sided PMD Clean Revolution that features one side having Sonic Glow Technology and the other having Red Light Therapy Treatment. The box includes: PMD Clean Revolution, a storage case, a charging cord, and goggles. The Sonic Glow's odor resistant silicone bristles vibrate at 7,000 vibrations a minute, being the perfect tool for your favorite cleanser. This hand has been a Godsend when it comes to breaking down any oil or cream products. Whereas Red Light Therapy Treatment has been lovely to help with fine lines. I was already experimenting with sleeping with red lights, but having direct treatment has been delightful. I love how the product vibrates after the three-minute treatment time is up. Whether you’re new to skin care or pro, everyone can get plenty of use from this product.

Cleansing & RedLight Therapy Duo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried using PMD's Clean Redvolution which is a smart facial cleansing device on one side and an age-defying red light therapy device on the other side. I love this duo device as it combines two tools into one and is so easy for on the go travel! My skin feels super clean after using the cleansing device as it removes deep impurities without stripping my skin of its natural layer. I found this device to be super gentle on my skin. Additionally, I have been looking for a red light therapy device and this is perfect for all levels! The tool comes with goggles with help protect your eyes when using the red light therapy device. This is great to prevent aging and helps with wrinkles overtime. I'm super impressed by this tool and will be packing it in the provided box for everyday use along with vacation trips!

The inclusion of the travel case and the protective goggles adds convenience and safety. The highlight of this device is it's dual action of cleansing and red light therapy. Consistency is the key and after 30 days, I could feel the visible difference in my skin. I am so grateful to be a part of such a great, supportive community that has allowed me dive in and learn even more about beauty/beauty brands.Product review: Honestly, I have many products similar to this but none of them are as convenient or comfortable as this one. I hate that the others I have are full heavy masks to where you have to be laying flat on your bed. This tool allows you to focus on specific areas and even buzzes when time is up! Also, it’s a two in one tool! ️ The other side is a facial brush with different modes. All you have to do is lather it with your favorite face wash. It gets deep into the pores making your skin feel and look soft as a baby! It even comes with a case so that you can travel with it! I absolutely love mine!

Lovely cleansing/redlight device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the PMD Smart Facial Cleansing Device, I found the SonicGlow Technology to be really effective; the device has over 7,000 vibrations per minute that really seemed to clean deep into my pores, leaving my skin feeling clean and refreshed. The silicone brush was gentle yet efficient, making cleansing a soothing experience without any irritation, I was very happy and loved that it was hypoallergenic and that it is a waterproof device, making it safe for all skin types and to use in the shower. The ability of not having to replace the brush head is convenient and cost effective. Also very easy to clean and sanitize. The 3-minute treatment session was easy to fit into my daily routine, making it a great choice for my busy schedule.
