Good idea but execution is subpar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really interested in testing this product because I don't typically use any skincare devices so excited to see what all the hype is about. This device contains a silicone cleansing brush on one side and a red led light therapy on the other.I felt there were no clear instructions at all given for the product. The first confusion I had was about charging the device. I was pretty sure where to stick it in but I took a whole lot of force to get it in all the way. I wish there was a diagram included which confirmed where the port is and that it will take some force.The second confusion was about how to activate the led. No instructions whatsoever! After turning it on, I thought I had a faulty product but you actually need to touch the led to your skin to activate it.Results wise, I wasn't impressed by the cleansing side. Even using the lower setting, I felt it stripped my skin too much even when used with cleansers I typically enjoy. It was also difficult to get around the corners of the nose.For the led, I did notice it helped with inflammation a bit but it is a ton of work. The goggles don't fit my eyes very well so I could still see some. Then each section takes 3 min, which doesn't sound like a lot, but it ends up being very inefficient when you consider that a mask would target the whole face at once. I would do around 5 sections of the face I needed the treatment the most, totaling 15 min. I would put some music or a podcast on.Overall I would rather use my fingertips for gentle cleansing and a led mask so I can truly relax.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and for your input. We do want to clarify that the red light does not have to be left on one spot of 3 minutes--this is just the maximum amount of time it should be left in one place. It can be swept across the skin, close enough to the skin to keep the red light activated during the sweeping motions. When there are areas of concern, this may be where you want to leave it in those spots for the 3 minutes for a more concentrated treatment.

SPA Like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product made me feel like I had a spa treatment on the go. This is very travel friendly and portable. The red light treatment made my skin feel rejuvenated and never had I used a red light treatment before so this was definitely a good experience. I do wish the control buttons were maybe at the bottom of the light since the button is very sensitive when putting into its clear case. I would recommend this product as a spa on the go especially for those like myself with sensitive acne prone skin. The light is not hot on the skin so you shouldn't feel any burning sensations. At least I did not. Packaging is kept very simple and clean. Comes with little eye protector goggles ones like when you tan. This helps protect your eyes from the red light. Highly recommend trying this out.

PMD Redvolusion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this product is a 2-in-1 device with a vibrating facial cleaning brush on one side and the red light therapy wand on the other. The cleansing brush side takes some getting used to at first, but I really enjoy using it as part of my nightly skincare routine. I feel that it cleans my skin more thoroughly than washing my face with my hands, but the bristles are soft enough that I do not feel like they are too abrasive on my skin. As for the red light wand side of this device, I've been using it for about 2 weeks, once a day at night after cleansing. I have seen a slight improvement in some of my blemishes, but nothing super noticeable yet. The one issue I have with the red light wand is that the instructions say to use it on clean, dry skin, and when I do this, my skin does not have enough slip for the wand to seamlessly glide over my skin. This causes the device to constantly vibrate because it thinks I am starting/stopping the treatment. Other than that, the device is very user-friendly and comes with eyewear to protect your eyes from the red light. The battery also seems to be very good on this device. I made sure it was fully charged when I first got it about 2 weeks ago, and I have not had to charge it since using it once a day. I am looking forward to continuing to use this product and seeing improvements in my skin!

i like it but there is an issue when using the light feature

I feel if it was just the light therapy I would be less likely to use it just because it would add another step to my routine I would have to remember. but the face scrubber (which i really like by the way!) makes it so i can instantly do the light therapy right after cleaning my face. of course though i’ve been using it daily, i’m not sure if the light therapy is doing anything but it’s only been a couple weeks so i believe effects need to take longer. my one complaint is that sometimes when i’m doing the light therapy, my hand placement means it’s very easy to accidentally turn on the scrubber (which then turns off the light). this can be very annoying, especially if i’m halfway done with the treatment. I’d also prefer if there was a clock of some kind telling me how long it’s been because honestly three minutes is a lot and it’s hard to know how long to do it for after a session has been interrupted

Hello. Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience. The red light side of PMD Clean Redvolution does not have to be held in place for a specific amount of time. If it is being held in place, the total amount of time in that one place should not exceed three minutes per area. The red light side can be moved in sweeping motions around the skin for a total of 20 minutes of treatment time.

Double sided delight!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the PMD Redvolusion for over a week now and have been loving the results so far! I love the double sided design. It makes it easy to cleanse the face and use the red light therapy in one convenient tool. The product is pretty easy to use but using the red light can take a few trys to get the hang of it. I say this because you have to hold the product onto your skin while using and if it comes off the device will vibrate and let you know. After getting the hang out it, I find that it is easy to use and fairly quick. I use the cleansing side to clean my face about once or twice a day. I like that it has two settings for a more gentle treatment versus slightly more strength. It helps to keep my skin clear and I’ve noticed a reduction in breakouts after using this product. I have noticed a reduction in the appearance of dark spots on my face due to the red light and I’m loving the results. A great multi use product for the skin!

The device offers a thorough and gentle cleanse, effectively removing dirt, oil, and makeup without irritating my skin. It's a good product but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the PMD Beauty Redvolusion product. I have used comparable products in the past, and those products were better than this one. What I liked: It was easy to use. The Red light I used for treatment was good. Time will tell if I look younger, but the process for the treatment was easy and didn't take too long. I liked the packing of the product; it was easy to find everything I needed. Also it was very easy to use and light and sturdy.What I didn't like: The bristles used to clean my face was not soft enough in my opinion. I also didn't like have to wear those eye protectors. They were not really comfortable and detracted from the experience of using this product. Overall, the product was easy to use. But it didn't satisfy me 100 percent. I still would recommend this product to other people because they may have a better experience than I did.

Perfect device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed using this! I’ve been dying to try red light therapy and it’s the perfect way to try it out. It’s so easy to use and the buttons are very intuitive. I love that the red light only comes on when it’s touching something so that you don’t accidentally shine it in your eyes when you didn’t mean to or run the battery out needlessly. The scrub side is awesome too! I love that it has two settings for a softer or stronger vibrating intensity if my skin is extra dirty one day and then feeling sensitive another day. I can even switch between the two if I want just part of my face to have the stronger intensity and then a more gentle one on other parts. It’s really easy to clean, really easy to dry, really easy to store, and really easy to charge! All around the perfect skincare device!
