My First 5-Star Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I *love* the SilkSteam Pro. I had ordered another steamer some months back and literally had to sit at a table to get eye-level with it so the steam could hit my face. I promptly sent it back. What I love about the PMD is it shoots upwards, so you can literally be standing at your bathroom sink getting steamed. Sometimes I bent just a little at the knees to get closer, and other times I literally stood upright and still got an amazing steam (I'm 5'8"). It's simple, it's easy, it comes to YOU and there aren't a million buttons or settings - there's just one - which is how it should be. It runs for about 15 minutes. That's my only complaint. It's so wonderful I wish it ran for 30+ minutes so I could just let it run in my bathroom while I got ready. But then it'd be a giant steamer and wouldn't fit nicely on your counter. So if you're on the fence, I definitely think this is one of the better ones out there.

With a rapid start-up and an ergonomic design, it's super easy and convenient to set up and unwind. This thing is powerful! It features an adjustable nozzle to help direct the steam where it's comfortable. It also comes with essential oil foam filters, which I highly suggest using to further enhance the experience. I feel so fresh and rejuvenated after just 15 minutes of use! It's my favorite prep for exfoliation, it's made such a noticeable difference on my skin. It helps to open up my pores, remove impurities, and allows for better absorption of my products. Just a friendly reminder, it can get quite warm, always remember to allow these types of devices to cool down and dry completely after each use. This steamer can be used to enhance various routines, such as deep cleansing, moisturizing, and of course it aids in relaxation. If you want to elevate your routine and enjoy a spa-like experience at home, I highly recommend PMDs SilkSteam Pro.

Steam away all the impurities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clean Skin is important, that’s why I love a good facial steamer. I’ve tried many over the years and this PMD steamer is on point first of all the sign is space saving and easy to use and looks great in your space. The fact that you can put essential oils in it and add a calming scent is amazing. I love how much state comes out. I’ve had other steamers that you hardly get any cloud of steam. It’s real small. Not this one. My face felt so clean and my skin calm afterwards. I would recommend this steamer to anyone who wants to have spa like at home more often than once a month. Cleaning is easy and make sure you use distilled water versus tapwater. Who wants to have all those impurities all over your face that’s what you’re trying to avoid. Happy steaming!

Dreaming of Steaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PMD Beauty's SilkStream Pro is in a wonderful, versatile facial steamer! It's definitely a lot smaller than some other brands I've seen or used before, making it easier to pull out and use or put away quickly. I was a little disappointed with the cord length, as I couldn't really find an easy area to plug it into where I would also be allowed to rest or sit while using it. My only other complaint is that it sometimes turns on by itself or stays on even after I've turned it off while it's plugged in. This is probably just a malfunction with my own, though, and not something that every one of them does. I used it a few different ways, and I loved it each time! I'm particularly fond of using it before cleansing - I feel as though I get a deeper, more meaningful cleanse by doing this. I tried using it before applying my serums, too. This made it feel like they were better absorbed, for sure. It works wonders to open up those pores, whether you want to use it before cleansing, serums, or even masking. It's both refreshing and relaxing. I also used it with some essential oils! The first one I tried was peppermint, and the whole room was filled with the scent. I was very surprised by the strength of the steam stream to begin with, but this showed me just how strong it really is. I didn't even use much oil, and this is a large living room I'm talking about!Truly love this product and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to add a little at-home spa-like treatment to their routine.

Very impressed!

I will start by saying how pleasantly surprised I was with the sturdiness, compact size & power this silksteam pro offers. When I see ‘Spa-grade’ I’m not always impressed because they don’t compare. PMD delivered with this stream pro. Setup was extremely easy with no hazel. I fired it up and it started steaming within a few seconds. I was surprised with the steam technology and heat it gave off. There was a steady flow of steam the entire 15 minute session. I used it multiple times to see if the performance would be the same and it was. I never used steam at home before in my routine and now I am hooked! I started adding it to my routine 2-3 nights a week during my nighttime steps. It’s so relaxing (like REALLY relaxing) and my skin feels and looks refreshed. I have not tried to use with any essential oils because I am sensitive to scents and prefer just a nice natural steam. I’m sure with an oil it’s delightful as well. The awesome thing is how small it is and easy to travel with. Facial spa sessions everywhere I go now!

At home spa experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device truly brings the spa experience at home. I have been using the silksteam pro once a week and see a tremendous difference in my skin. My skin has become incredibly softer and my skin is able to absorb product much faster. I like to use serum and eye cream before using the steamer. I feel it makes the products more effective and I truly see the results after one use. I look forward to using this product once a week. The steam does not have a smell and will not burn your skin. The steam is not painful and is incredibly enjoyable. I started using the steamer on my chest to improve my chest acne and it has helped to improve my skin tremendously. It is beneficial to use this device on other skin besides your face. I believe this product would benefit those with shoulder acne as well.

Silky Essential

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the PMD SilkSteam and I am extremely impressed with its performance. Clearly not all steam is created equal. The temperature is perfect and feels like a silk cocoon on the face. I figured it would be somewhat indulgent and take a lot of time, but on the contrary. The steamer heats up quickly and performs instantly. The design of the device is sleek and unassuming. I doesn’t take up a lot of space, and it looks good sitting on the counter. It’s also super clean and easy to fill up. I even added in essential oils to my water and that was a nice addition.After using the SilkSteam for a few weeks, GLOW is the results. My complexion looks brighter and my pores appear smaller. I also find that my skincare products seem to absorb better after using the PMD. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an esthetician, I certainly know the benefits of steam for the skin. This PMD Silk Steam Pro is such a delight right out of the box. It’s a sleek beautiful unit that fits in on a vanity or even in a treatment room. You can add essential oils to the unit for a relaxing experience with the benefits of plant oils. The middle piece ejects and you pour in distilled water which is best to keep the steamer running well. Steam for 15 minutes and then apply a serum and any other treatment products. I was so pleased with the strength and consistency of the steam from this small unit. It is easy to use anywhere even on the couch while watching television. This unit allows you to conveniently add steam easily to your skincare regime. My skin was glowing after just one treatment and I have been using this twice a week to enhance my skincare routine.
