Love at first sight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all she's gorgeous. I know it's not the most important element in a beauty device. But why shouldn't an object that helps to make you look and feel more beautiful also be beautiful herself? The design is lovely inside and out Just like I aspire to be. Hahaha. Truly though, the SilkSteam Pro combines maximum functionality and sleek design so elegantly. There's an old saying, "You eat with your eyes first". Which is, of course, to say, that a sensational looking plate of food really gets you in the mood to taste the delicious meal. Just seeing a lightly glazed and glistening fruit tart in a bakery window gives you that wonderful anticipation before you even walk through the door and smell the freshly baked treats. And if you want a relaxing spa day, we all know that appearance matters in terms of the ambience. So, when I first laid eyes on the SilkSteam Pro I breathed in deeply and exhaled, "Hello, Gorgeous". This stunning device was relaxing just to gaze upon. And you feel confident that your skin will be in good hands. Or good steam. Haha. The love at first sight continued and developed into a deeper respect and appreciation through use. My pores were unclogged. My serums were better absorbed. In every way, the SilkSteam Pro exceeded my expectations. The fact that you can use essential oils with this device? And adorable little scent pads are included? Delightful! Easy to use, clean and store (but go ahead and leave her out- She's so pretty) this is a magnificent, useful. beauty device in all ways!

Silk steam pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I have never used something like this before. For it to be a first it’s absolutely amazing. My skin breaks out very easily and this has made the acne that has popped up recently disappear almost instantly. I had a pimple on my cheek and I used this on my face for 15 min. My face was super soft and smooth. My pimple had gone down significantly. Then when I woke up the next morning it was practically gone. I was so amazed and my face just stays smooth. I have been using it every other day sense I’ve got it and wow. This is a game changer. Also the little essential oil pads it comes with helps so much with the relaxing feel of it it. If you’re thinking about buying this. Do it it’s absolutely worth it. It’s on the expensive side but honestly more expensive is better when it comes to your skin care.

SilkSteam Pro for Supple Skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say as a licensed cosmetologist, I often feel I take more care of others than myself.  I recently had the opportunity to experience the PMD SilkSteam Pro as a form of at home self care.I was surprised at how easy this light weight machine makes it to get professional results from the privacy of my own home.  It’s insane, how quickly the machine activates and begins working.Please be careful if you touch the base or nozzle  of the system,  they do get a little warm to touch.If you aren’t familiar with at home devices with steaming capabilities (yes this includes clothing irons and clothing steamers) most of these devices recommend using distilled water. Distilled water… is considered the purest form of water.  For this reason it is often the preferred form of water for anything medical or mechanical.  If you are wondering, it’s because of the distillation process and how it strips minerals from water.I really enjoyed how soft and supple the steam made my skin feel. It lasted almost 24 hours.My only downfall for this machine is, its shell.  I’m not a fan of white plastic shells. I like color and individuality; I might cover it with colorful contact paper.

Great steamer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time using a face steamer and I was excited to try it. First I love the modern design of the PMD silksteam pro device. It is very easy to use and it was a fast process to enjoy all the benefits of the steamer right at home in my bathroom. I like that it was an easy technology device to use and it was only needed to add distilled water and to click one button. The blue lights when the device is on look great.I followed all the instructions of the steamer and I used the steamer for about 15 minutes.I could already notice some results after first time use. My skin was smooth, and my skin pores were improved. I also notice a better absorption of my serum and my cream after using the steamer.I look forward to using it again and get aditionnal other benefits for my face skin from the steamer.

I love that this steamer is portable and could be used for your clients and for myself.After you plug in the steamer and press the power button please wait 30 seconds to make sure that your steamer is ready than direct the adjustable nozzle to the safe distance to your face and use this steamer for 15 minutes. Smooth and doesn't burn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a licensed cosmetologist/Barber for about 12 years now and have experience in various things including facial care and makeup and nails and hair care, since it plays a big part in my barbering work for my clients I also work with alot of people with sensitive skin issues, myself included. I have sensitive/combination skin with ezcema on top of that so hydration is a big thing for me, but I'm still a big experimenter with new products.I remember the steamers they had us use in school and I will say I was definitely skeptical about this one but going through the class for this steamer made me want to give it a try and it will say I have been thoroughly impressed with it so far. The steam is smooth and feels like a soft warm cloud on my skin and you don't have random bursts of hot water flying at you or feel like you are getting suffocated in a sauna. I also love the fact that it comes with little pads that you can put a couple drops of your fave essential oils to it to amp up your skin care routine. It's simple to use and doesn't take up alot of space at all and overall I would definitely recommend to people.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who’s never tried a facial steamer before, I was very excited to try it, but I ultimately felt unimpressed. One nice thing about the product is how lightweight it is, though I thought it was a bit clunky to just hold with my hand. it is very hot as the instruction say it is good to keep it a bit of distance away from the face. But I think the biggest change I saw from the facial steamer is actually drying out my face a bit. I tried in different angles and distances, but I couldn’t quite get that sweet spot of relaxing and getting the seam all over my face comfortably. I think because it was warm, it could open up my pores and actually help clean the skin if I wash my face afterwards. Overall, I think it’s probably best for people with oily skin types, but definitely hopes with pimples.

For those with already dry skin, steaming can dry out the skin more if skin is not properly taken care of after steaming with hydrating products. If you tend toward dry skin, decrease the amount of time the skin is steamed and how often it is steamed--only once a week for those with dry skin.

Makes extraction so much easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a licensed cosmetologist esthetician and professional makeup artist for 23 years and this is my second home facial steamer. I've yet to be disappointed with any of PMD's tools, coming from a professional standpoint I can say they really make exceptional skincare tools. I love having a facial steamer at home, I have three teenage girls that constantly ask me to do do extractions and having the PMD facial steamer really makes it a breeze. It's easy to use, heats up and begins steaming extremely fast and I love the directional nozzle which makes it easy to direct the steam where you need it. The steam doesn't get to hot either, I've had steamers where if your not careful will burn the skin. This steamer is the perfect at home device and pairs really well with the PMD wave pro as it opens up the pores and really gets them cleaned out when using the wave along with it..
