Great product, takes time to get adjusted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first facial steamer, and the only downside I have encountered using this product is the time it took to adjust and understand the process to get comfortable using it. Trying to not suffocate with the steam blowing directly into my face and trying to get it to hit the right spots was definitely a learning curve. As the product states, it does get very hot. It’s also easy to tell when the water in the reservoir is low, which signals that the 15 minutes is coming to an end. As for the effectiveness (once I got the hang of using it), I have seen a slight improvement. I say slight because I’ve only used it 3 times, so hoping that the improvement continues as I keep using it. My skin becomes super soft and glowy, but the big issue it helps me with is product absorption. By gently opening my pores and softening the skin, I can use my skincare products and it actually penetrating the skin. Overall, I really enjoyed using this product and would recommend!

A spa in a steamer

Recently, I decided to give the PMD SilkSteam Pro a try, and after using it for a week, I can say it has both impressed and challenged me, earning it a solid four stars.First, the positives. The PMD SilkSteam Pro makes my face look noticeably brighter and cleaner after each use. The steam effectively opens up my pores, allowing for a deeper cleanse and better absorption of skincare products. My skin feels smoother and more refreshed, which is exactly what I need.Now, the challenges. The machine gets very hot, which is a bit concerning. I need to be cautious when handling it, especially with my kids around. Additionally, the amount of steam it produces can be overwhelming. It’s hard to find a comfortable distance without feeling like I'm being blasted with steam, and adjusting the output isn’t very intuitive.Despite these issues, the positives outweigh the negatives. My skin feels cleaner, my pores are more open, and my overall complexion has improved. The PMD SilkSteam Pro is a great tool for serious skincare enthusiasts, even if it requires a bit of patience to get the settings just right. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My name is Gabby and I'm a licensed Cosmetologist. I received the SilkSteam Pro by PMD. I first started using PMD years ago when they came out with their at home microdermabrasion tool. Since then, I've been using their PMD clean silicone face cleanser tool. So, I had high expectations for the SilkSteam Pro. It's easy to set up, I like the push pod method to add just enough water for a full face and neck treatment. I like the joystick nozzle, so I can position the steam in the area I want to focus on. I also like that you have the option to add essential oils and that there's no leakage on my counter tops. I let the steam run while putting on a sheet mask. You can even use a gua sha while steaming and wearing a sheet mask. I found my products absorb better. Overall, I'd give this steamer five out of five stars.

Great Facial Steamer.

Let me introduce you the facial steamer device from PDM which has literally blown my mind for the past week. I was a bit skeptical about using the facial steamer, and after using it, I totally regretted not using it a lot sooner. The PDM Silk Steam Pro works a wonder for my combination with acne-prone skin. I’m very impressed with the product quality, the easy to use, and the amazing results that this device is delivering. The device can hold a good amount of distilled water which provides a warm, moist, yet soft cloudy continuous steam for a good facial pampering up to 15 minutes each time. I love that I can use my favorite essential oils using small filters that come with the device. I feel like I’m in a fancy spa setting, but in the comfort of my own home. By using the PDM Silk Steam Pro consistently every other day, my skin looks improved quite significantly. The device helps soften my skin and pores for easy cleansing and removing buildup and impurities remove dead skin cells on my skin. My skin looks a lot healthier, clearer and well balanced. Give this PDM Silk Steam Pro a try and I’m sure you will love all the amazing benefits that your skin deserves.

Excellent device if you have tighter pores!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a beauty expert with years of experience in the hair and beauty industry, I must say I am thoroughly impressed with this PMD silk steam pro! The past few weeks, my skin has not been so great. I have noticed a huge increase in oil production and also noticed that my skincare was not penetrating deep enough below the surface. I started using this device a little over a week ago and have noticed some huge improvements in my skin. My skin is softer, and I have a decrease of blackheads/oil production. I recommend using this when you notice that your skincare is not working well or if you need a reduction in oil. I really like to use this device before I apply peels. I noticed great results doing this.This device also allows you to add your own essential oil! An ultimate spa-like experience. I recommend this device.

Decongesting pores!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a skincare enthusiast, I’m always looking for new and exciting products and tools to test in hopes to improve my skincare routine.   I’m 34, a wife, mom of 4, and a nurse in a high stress environment.  I struggle a lot with acne, specifically hormonal.The steamer is very simple to use. It’s aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but is kind of a pain to store away or display on the counter.  As far as the design goes, I love that the steam nozzle is adjustable and the water tank is easily accessible.I have used this facial steamer 4 times and can say I noticed a difference in my skin after the first use.  I like to use the steamer at night, for 15 minutes, after my first cleanse.  I follow up with my second cleanse and continue with my serums and moisturizer. I had a noticeable difference in the amount of oil production after my first use.  After using this 4 times, I have noticed that my hormonal acne spots along my jaw line are clearing up/drying out.I will note, be sure to use distilled water with this product or you’re going to end up with mineral build up in the water chamber.   If you struggle with hormonal acne like I do, I’d highly recommend this product! It has really helped with oil production and decongesting my pores.

Bring the spa at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have acne prone skin and I try to take care of my skin as well as I can to avoid future breakouts and minimize Andy breakouts if I have any. I love having a self care day once a week , where I pamper my skin and give it everything it needs to set up for the week ) that includes wearing makeup) or testing products. This PMD steamer made me feel like I had a mini spa at home. Steaming helps with opening up the pores and allowing products to penetrate better once you start your skincare routine. The warmth of the steam allows for circulation and that is immediately felt, I love having this little device . It’s not aa big as a professional one and it easy to keep on the counter. It’s also really easy to setup. You can get straight to your skin care .

Spa Like Experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This steamer delivers a spa like experience at home and as a stay at home momma, I’m all about it!I rarely have the time to get to a spa to have some self care time. This PMD Silksteam Pro delivers that self care for me at home. It is super easy to use and quick to start up. I had zero issues reading the directions and figuring out how to operate this steamer.The water compartment is a tad difficult to open, however. The push to release feature is nice but the compartment doesn’t open far enough to really get a hold of it. I found that challenging. The inclusion of the pads for essential oils was so exciting for me. I was able to use lavender and have a really relaxing experience. However, the pad flew off the steamer pretty quickly and it’s not possible to replace while it’s on due to the temperature of the steamer. That was kind of a bummer, too.Overall, though, I really liked this steamer and will continue to use it. It’s relaxing and easy to use. And I love that I can use it in the comfort of my own home.
