My washer and Dryer were delivered and in less than 12 hours the Dryer broke! I had the service repair guy out taking the brand new dyer apart and fixing it. I was so annoyed. It still isn't right... It's loud and the auto dry does not work, even when I have it on Dry the load isn't dry!!! I also purshcased the additional steam option and that wasn't hooked up properly at first but it works now. There are also marks on the inside drum of the dyer that are in the actual metal and look bad. Just not impressed or a good way to start off with my first Speed Queen purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As a Ripon College grad - I grew up knowing all about "Racy Royalty" as we called it (get it - Speed Queen), and when my brother and sister-in-law purchased theirs, I decided to follow suit. I had to chuckle because I bought the white washer as I wanted a more mechanical washer and not so much tech......but when I saw that this black dryer had that pet sensor...I was sold. Imagine when I finally got my white washer and black dryer that the delivery guys thought they had the wrong order. Nope....so my first drying of dog towels left me with so much more lint and "waste" than I have ever seen....for those of you with dogs....RUN to get this. My towels feel soft (and they are old), but they are clean and no more "doggy" odor....Thank you, Speed Queen. I may have paid more for this, but it has been worth it for sure!!

Brand new dryer squeaks loud constantly

I bought a brand new washer and dryer for my new home and the dryer squeaks really loud ever since the first time I used it. Its awful.

Error n5 after two months of purchase

My dryer stopped working after just two months, displaying an error code N5 and making loud noises. I have been waiting for warranty service for three weeks and still have no scheduled appointment. This has been a huge disappointment. Given the price and the high quality this brand is known for, I expected to have no issues for at least the next ten years, but that hasn’t been the case. I would not recommend this product.

Good but not great

The 2 complaints I have so far is that the dryer makes a very loud buzzing/humming sound coming from the electronic control board located in the bottom left corner of the dryer. It also makes a metallic sound that seems to be emanating from the outlet duct when first warming up. After warmed up, the noise goes away. Very unrefined product for the price that you pay. My Whirlpool machines were much more refined in the design aspect, but I will say they didn't clean as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!
