I couldn’t be happier with this electric dryer. I love all the features especially the steam and sanitize features. Even has cycle for pet items and over dry protection. It is quiet and very quick drying and has a nice bright interior light. Also has a static control feature. I highly recommend.

We are very pleased with our Speed Queen dryer. It works better than our previous unit and I love the options. We don't have any pets, but we hope to get a dog in the future.

Both washer and dryer are noisey

Speed Queen pair replaced my 1978 Maytag pair

These new laundry machines have a hard act to follow. I am getting used to all the new tech and the machines have a much better capacity and can get my chores done quickly. I dont expect they will last as long as the Maytags, but they seem efficient and VERY quiet. Since I am 87, I hope they outlast me.

Best Dryer Ever!

My wife & I had heard of speed queen being the best in the business since becoming a homeowner years ago. Our first home came with a set of Maytags. They were fine, worked as needed. We recently purchased a new home and went out and got Speed Queens from our local appliance store. Needless to say in the first few weeks, they exceeded my expectations on what I thought dryers were capable of. They really live up to their name and perform as they are supposed to.

like them both , they work well , the dryer had a motor board go out at four months old, repairman was a nice guy , people on the phone were I bought it were nice also. but the whole process took just about two weeks to get the repair done , would have been longer had my wife not gotten on the phone , long time to go without a dryer in the winter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
