Not a good refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything in my refrigerator keeps molding/going bad long before the expiration dates. I had someone come look at it and all he did was check the temp & leave.

Cannot locate a bypass filter for this model

Only have the fridge a couple days, this is left of a review and more of a question for the community or LG to respond.
We have reverse osmosis, so I have no need for the water filter. In my search for a bypass filter, there is nothing mentioned in the manual, and the third party company that supports parts and accessories says the bypass filter they have does not fit this model.
There has to be a solution for a bypass filter … I don’t want to buy a new filter in 6 months but also do not want to leave that filter in indefinitely.
Does anyone know of a solution here?

We’ve had a couple of issues however with the icemaker getting jammed and we had to get a replacement cover for the air filter as it was the incorrect one for our model however it was replaced very quickly and with no problem and that was good.

Meets most of my needs

Old fridge died so got this one. It’s a good fridge for the most part. The water filter is leaving some charcoal in the water but when I called, they sent a new one for free. The other problem is the ice in the freezer freezes together into a big ice chunk so I have to completely empty and start over.
I like everything else. Lots of room for everything, adjustable shelves. The holders in the door are big and store a lot of stuff. The ones at the bottom are hidden and I almost missed them although they’re not good for much except maybe small cans.
I also wish there was a separate section for the butter. But overall, I’m happy with my purchase.
I do like the online link for questions and information although sometimes I need help figuring out how to do some things.

Fantastic Design for Usable Capacity

We took delivery of our refrigerator on 12-6-24 and we just LOVE it! All the features are very well thought-out. We can't believe how much usable space there is, in both fridge and freezer. All of the shelves and drawers are so easily accessible. WE LOVE IT!

Incredible space efficiency

We bought this fridge after a builder grade KitchenAid fridge died. We had some apprehension about LG fridges but read all the great things about their new compressor. I was stunned by the on paper capacity of this counter depth fridge and man it does not disappoint. Way way more spacious and functional door storage makes this fridge incredible. It’s simple. No door ice which is good for reliability. Doesn’t have custom humidity for crispers but I’m okay with that. The space space space makes up for it

Looks great but after just 4 months there is a disgusting smell both too and bottom. It’s been thoroughly emptied, and cleaned m. While it was being cleaned I put all my food into a large cooler. The cooler did not smell while the food was in it. After cleaning I put food back in and smell continues. This smell is the same as my last LG fridge that had a failing compressor (this was confirmed by a technician who cane to check it).
