GREAT REFRIGERATOR-UNBELIEVABLE STORAGE AND VALUE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a MASSIVE REFRIGERATOR! I have had this unit since this past April. I have never been disappointed by this unit. The ice maker is in the freezer's top section, allowing for more storage in the doors. Both doors can hold FOUR GALLONS of milk or juices. The control panel and water dispenser are on the inside of the unit. Again, this allows for more storage space. Also, the unit can have many functions controlled with your mobile phone, using the LG Thinq app. The only thing that I have a , this unit that small issue with is where the power cord is located. It comes out of the unit at the top of the fridge over the left door and runs along the top to the right side then to the back of the unit. I find this an odd design. Other than that. This refrigerator is an AMAZING value. I highly recommend this model!

Prepare to purchase some Ice Trays!

I had read reviews on this unit and saw complaints of the icemaker being very slow. However, I saw that there was an "Ice Plus" button that could be activated that would increase ice production for 24 hours. I figured these people just did not know about this feature. Well... Maybe I was wrong about that because this icemaker is EXTREMELY slow and the Ice Plus feature has minimal effect on production. It is a shame to make such a large purchase only to have to go out and purchase old fashioned ice trays that I empty into the ice bin. With four additional ice trays, I have plenty of ice. Bottom line, this ice maker cannot keep up with a family of three. The other problem is the lack of shelf adjustment (which was also in past reviews), but I simply removed the top shelf on the right side and can now store some taller items on the shelf instead of the door. The unit has a VERY large capacity which is due to having the water dispenser on the inside of the unit. However, the dispensed water could be colder.

We don’t like the unadjustable shelves on the doors though. We want adjustable everything, not what they think we want.

Huge interior, but drawbacks, too

Arrived with the 2 French doors uneven. Installers said it's a common problem. Ended up with a small amount off of the fridge. Huge which is awesome, BUT cannot adjust the shelves much at all. Tall items will ONLY fit on the doors. Took almost 48 hrs to cool down once turned on. Print-proof? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. NOPE. Icemaker works, but is shockingly slow. Overall, does what it's supposed to do.

I bought this a few weeks ago and can not stop smiling! It is everything I wanted and more in a fridge. Wide shelves to hold large pizza boxes without tilting them sideways to store! Large drawers for storing meats and cheeses, produce and anything else you want to keep separate. Should have purchased this fridge sooner, it would of saved so much energy trying to find space.
