Let’s see how long the compressor lasts on ours! If LG wants the USA market, then they got to make great products!
We don’t like the unadjustable shelves on the doors though. We want adjustable everything, not what they think we want.

Love the amount of room in the freezer draw and the fridge has so much room. Water dispenser is great and taste great. The ice maker is great and fast. So glad we purchased it. Hope it holds up like our last fridge that was 24 years old with no problems.

Getting it in the door was a bit of a challenge due to its larger size. However, those who delivered it did a great job of getting it into place, and it works great.

Prepare to purchase some Ice Trays!

I had read reviews on this unit and saw complaints of the icemaker being very slow. However, I saw that there was an "Ice Plus" button that could be activated that would increase ice production for 24 hours. I figured these people just did not know about this feature. Well... Maybe I was wrong about that because this icemaker is EXTREMELY slow and the Ice Plus feature has minimal effect on production. It is a shame to make such a large purchase only to have to go out and purchase old fashioned ice trays that I empty into the ice bin. With four additional ice trays, I have plenty of ice. Bottom line, this ice maker cannot keep up with a family of three. The other problem is the lack of shelf adjustment (which was also in past reviews), but I simply removed the top shelf on the right side and can now store some taller items on the shelf instead of the door. The unit has a VERY large capacity which is due to having the water dispenser on the inside of the unit. However, the dispensed water could be colder.
