Fabric softener dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't believe you would make a washer without a fabric softener dispenser. Not having a soap dispenser works because you can just throw the soap in. But you need a dispenser for the fabric softener. And those balls for fabric softener only work part of the time. The rest of the time you end up with stained clothes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Number one, it looks great where it has been placed, to watch to washing cycles go is just wonderful and the finished wash is perfectly clean. It is a terrific machine and I will definitely be recommending this model
to any of my friends who are in the market for a new washer.

Love the features; hate the NOISE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to buy American and was ready to love the faucet feature. Unfortunately, the washing machine was so unbelievably noisy; I could hear it all over the house surging and grinding. It was extremely disappointing for me to have to return it. I own other Whirlpool appliances and have been very satisfied with them. Please, tech engineers, find a fix to quiet the machine.

Not happy at all with this machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very unhappy with this washing machine. It was delivered on April 30th and I have already had to have a service tech out to my house. When the machine is in the spin cycle, it shakes violently to the point that it has fallen off the platform it is on. The Bulky setting for sheets is ineffective because I can't wash just one set of sheets as I did with my previous Whirpool Cabrio washer. The tech said I need to put in more than one set to keep the machine from going off balance. (I had one set of sheets in the machine, and the sheets all moved to one side and threw the machine off the balance.) As the machine is moving from the wash cycle to the spin cycle, it make a series of violent thumps, which my previous machine never did. I should not have to add additional sheets in order to keep the machine from going off balance. All in all, I am unhappy with this purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
