[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One week old, so far so good. Mistakenly ordered impeller type but like because wash bulky items and don't have to squeeze fabric around agitator. Last whirlpool a bust, but Roper that lasts several years now owned by whirlpool, so here I be.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A guide on how to use it should be easily available but the only a quick start up guide and troubleshooting comes with it. How do I know when to add the fabric softener? What are the weight limits for each cycle? How long does it cycle typically take? Explanations of each feature and when to use them? How do I explain how to use it to my family if I don't even know?

After seeing the impeller type washing machine and talking to friends about their washers we decided to purchase one after our wringer washing machine went out because of a control break down.
we are happy with the new unit and the way it does the laundry.

No fabric softener dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week ago. I called whirlpool two days after. There is no fabric softener dispenser but a fabric softener light you can put on. The lid does not open to put the softener in unless you lightly tap it but not too long so it doesnt stop washing. Whats the point of having a fabric softener light if it does nothing? The manufacturer said I can use a Downy Ball. Im taking it back and getting another washer with a dispenser.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
