[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer new a few weeks ago and we're very pleased with it. It's very quick and efficient and pretty quiet too. I would definitely recommend this appliance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only owned this washer for about 2 weeks, but I am pretty well satisfied with it, it gets the clothes clean like a washer should. I do have some complaints though. For starters, it is needlessly complicated, and does not have an owner's manual. I should not have to refer to the internet to figure it out. The "slow close" and locking lid is a pain. I have been doing my own laundry for 60 years (since I was eight), and have never slammed the lid on my hand. Why do I have to wait for the lid to close? The lid lock mechanism is a pain. How many times have you forgotten to throw something in? Why stop the washer and then have to restart it? And, yes, a normal wash cycle takes an hour. My 2008 Whirlpool that I replaced didn't take that long to do the job. I have owned Whirlpool my entire life, and my parents before me. When I called to register the machine, the guy on the other end just wanted to sell me an extended warranty. I told him I've never needed one from his company, and I'd better not need one now.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hope I did not make a mistake in buying this product. Sheets are tangled and ends up in one area of washer. Towels do not spin water out completely even on bulky item setting.

Thank you for sharing your insights with us. We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Washer. To prevent items from becoming tangled and twisted during the wash cycle, the load must be sorted before starting the washer. Sorting ensures a more balanced load and allows items to move more freely. A common practice is to mix different-sized items—such as large pants and smaller shirts—within the same load. This variety helps balance the drum during the wash and spin phases, reducing the likelihood of clothes wrapping around each other. Additionally, consider sorting by fabric type and weight, as heavy items can put stress on lighter, more delicate clothing, contributing to tangling. Is the washer overloaded?
An overloaded washer is a primary cause of tangling and twisting. For optimal washing performance and to reduce tangling, the load items need to have enough space to tumble freely within the washer drum. When a washer is overloaded, clothes are tightly packed, preventing proper water circulation and movement, which forces items to twist together. To mitigate this issue, you may need to: Reduce your load size: Ensure you are loading the washer according to the manufacturer's recommendations. A good rule of thumb is to load the clothes loosely, no higher than the top row of holes in the washer tub. Reduce your wash time: For smaller or lighter loads, reducing the wash time can sometimes help, as less agitation time translates to less opportunity for tangling. Use the appropriate cycle: If washing larger, bulkier items (like sheets, blankets, or towels), always use a heavy or deep fill wash cycle and consider the Bulky Items or Deep Water Wash option if available. These cycles use more water and/or a modified agitation pattern to accommodate larger articles, allowing them to submerge and move properly without twisting excessively. Select the correct cycle type: Using the correct cycle type for the fabric and size of the load being washed is crucial. For instance, a Normal cycle is best for mixed loads, while a Delicates cycle uses less aggressive agitation, which is ideal for avoiding tangling in fine garments. Following these guidelines will help ensure your laundry is thoroughly cleaned with minimal twisting and tangling.
