Good so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are enjoying the machine so far. Controls are easy to use, and the capacity is more than enough for two people. I guess the only thing we miss is the lack of a waterproof cycle. Have to take the shower curtains and certain winter jackets to the laundromat now. We only do that a couple of times a year, so it is not a big deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hello,
We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Washer.
Excessive vibration or an "out-of-balance" load, common during high-speed spin cycles, causes noise, movement, and negatively impacts washer performance and longevity.
The Primary Cause: Unbalanced Load
The main source of vibration is uneven laundry distribution. When the load's weight is not centered, the resulting centrifugal force causes:
Loud Vibration/Noise: Excessive shaking or thumping.
Reduced Spin Speed: Control systems lower speed to protect the machine, resulting in wetter clothes.
Longer Cycles: Machine pauses/restarts to attempt load correction.
Decreased Performance: Stress on internal components over time.
Signs of Unbalance: Loud thumping/clanking, violent shaking or "walking," wet clothes after the cycle, or spin cycle interruption.
Washer Self-Correction: Modern washers detect imbalance, add water, gently tumble the load for redistribution, and re-attempt the spin. If unsuccessful after attempts, the cycle terminates, requiring manual redistribution.
Preventing Imbalance: Loading and Items
Best Loading Practice: Place clothing in loose, evenly distributed heaps around the basket's perimeter. Avoid dumping items in one corner.
Heavy/Bulky Items: Large, absorbent items (blankets, rugs) increase vibration risk.
Check Labels: Ensure items are suitable for the washer type.
"Doughnut" Method: Distribute single, heavy items in a ring shape around the impeller/agitator to center the load.
Avoid Single Items: Wash two or three similar, heavy items together for better balancing.
Never Overload: Load loosely; clothes should not exceed the top row of holes.
Foundational Fix: Ensure Leveling
The washer must be perfectly level with all four feet firmly on the floor.
Check: Gently rock the washer diagonally; if it moves, it needs adjustment.
Consequence: Uneven leveling amplifies minor load imbalances, leading to excessive noise and spin failure.
Drain Pan: Ensure leveling legs are adjusted to sit securely and level within the pan.

Buyer beware on the Impeller Whirlpool washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In October 2025, I purchased the 4.6 Cu. Ft. Top Load Impeller Whirlpool washer with soft close glass lid, plus companion dryer. Good customer reviews were an important part of my decision ... but I was not at all prepared for my actual disappointment! There is a learning curve to any of the Energy Star rated Whirlpool washers (and YES! a voluntary program restricting use of water) ... it senses the weight of the load, and the tub starts to fill with about 2" water while the impeller agitates and slowly moves DRY clothes from top center to bottom drum (not side to side like a traditional center point agitator). The built-in water faucet feature adds additional water ever so slowly through the wash process, BUT unless you USE the deep water wash option, which adds an additional 2" water, your clothes never get a thorough drench through the average wash cycle! YIKES! And, same with rinse! After using all the other programmed wash options, most have the shallow tub wash fill and a SPIN rinse feature (meaning water does NOT fill the tub and agitate clothes in clean rinse waster, BUT strays the clothes as they spin around the tub!) Crazy to think! I bought the larger tub to wash king size blankets and bedspreads and now regret this washer purchase! FYI, I give the companion Whirlpool dryer a 5-star rating, so 'am giving an average rating based on both!

Non-existent Owners Manual
on December 11, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is nice, however your 2 page "Owners Manual" is pathetic -- it is actually one piece of paper printed on both sides!!. Your washer replaced a Samsung product that had an ACTUAL 12 page manual. Here's what is important: List all nine fabric options -- Jeans, Heavy Duty, Whites, Colors, Quick Wash, Active Wear, Delicates, Bulky Items, Towels. Then with three columns after each item, show the TIME the selection takes, the WATER USAGE and the ELECTRIC USAGE. Let Chat GPT do the work for you and this would make your customer happy.

Great Washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great replacement for my old washer! Seems that at the end of the cycle, more water has been removed from the items, making for more efficient drying... yay!

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is ok. It is loud and doesn't have very good instructions on how to use. Does not have a tray to put in the laundry soap and softner. A little disappointed but, it still cleans the clothes.
