Don't Do It!!!

Worst washer I have ever owned. Agitates and spins way too hard for delicates. Goes off balance with even a light load in in. Don't even get me started on how this thing bounces around my laundry room when doing sheets or towels. I am about ready to tell Whirlpool to come and pick this thing up and refund my money!! I will NEVER buy Whirlpool again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello,
We value your time and would like to look into the concerns with your Washer.
Excessive vibration or an "out-of-balance" load, common during high-speed spin cycles, causes noise, movement, and negatively impacts washer performance and longevity.
The Primary Cause: Unbalanced Load
The main source of vibration is uneven laundry distribution. When the load's weight is not centered, the resulting centrifugal force causes:
Loud Vibration/Noise: Excessive shaking or thumping.
Reduced Spin Speed: Control systems lower speed to protect the machine, resulting in wetter clothes.
Longer Cycles: Machine pauses/restarts to attempt load correction.
Decreased Performance: Stress on internal components over time.
Signs of Unbalance: Loud thumping/clanking, violent shaking or "walking," wet clothes after the cycle, or spin cycle interruption.
Washer Self-Correction: Modern washers detect imbalance, add water, gently tumble the load for redistribution, and re-attempt the spin. If unsuccessful after attempts, the cycle terminates, requiring manual redistribution.
Preventing Imbalance: Loading and Items
Best Loading Practice: Place clothing in loose, evenly distributed heaps around the basket's perimeter. Avoid dumping items in one corner.
Heavy/Bulky Items: Large, absorbent items (blankets, rugs) increase vibration risk.
Check Labels: Ensure items are suitable for the washer type.
"Doughnut" Method: Distribute single, heavy items in a ring shape around the impeller/agitator to center the load.
Avoid Single Items: Wash two or three similar, heavy items together for better balancing.
Never Overload: Load loosely; clothes should not exceed the top row of holes.
Foundational Fix: Ensure Leveling
The washer must be perfectly level with all four feet firmly on the floor.
Check: Gently rock the washer diagonally; if it moves, it needs adjustment.
Consequence: Uneven leveling amplifies minor load imbalances, leading to excessive noise and spin failure.
Drain Pan: Ensure leveling legs are adjusted to sit securely and level within the pan.

Washer Satisfaction
on January 31, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer in December and am satisfied with its performance. I miss not being able to have an indication of the washing phase, but do appreciate the way the tub spins, and can rotate the tub around to get everything out in the front instead of having to reach all sections of the tub to remove items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with our new washer. It handles large loads and has a good variety of wash options. No complaints but I do wish the cycles showed how much time remains until the cycle is completed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works. It saves in water. But the top part of the laundry isn't submerged in water in the wash cycle.

Too many changes not so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a long delay before receiving it- over 2 months. Replaced whirlpool washer of 18 years with whirlpool washer.
Delicate cycle spins so hard it pulls almost permanent wrinkles in the items that I washed, which needed to be washed delicately. If it is to be gentle, then why not make the spin more gentle with a shorter spin time. Maybe add a button to pick spin time and how hard the spin is. Delicate means delicate!
Also on the rinse cycles I only see the washer spraying water on the clothing while it spins, except for the towel cycle. What i don't see is the clothing being rinsed in a tub of water. I don't feel that it is rinsing the detergent out of the clothes when the washer sprays while spinning. Navy trousers came out with marks that looked like the detergent had not rinsed out.
Too many different cycles. too much time on the cycles!
Also no information came with the machine regarding the different cycles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would you believe?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to get used to not using a full drum full of water. My old washer was 12 years old, so the technology has changed tremendously since then. I had a hard time believing this washer could clean my clothes with very little water. Guess what! It did. My clothes come out very clean and smelling fresh. Once I figured out how to use this washer and let it do its own thing I realized I had made a good purchase.
