NICE LOOKING BUT "BIG" LID

I bought this on 10/20/25 to replace my old Whirlpool that finally quit after 19 years. I prefer "knobs" to turn instead of push buttons, etc. I like the glass top so I can actually look at it when it's working. But I never thought about how large the lid is. I have cabinets in my laundry room and with my old machine the lid would open all the way and clear the bottom of the cabinets. On the new one I had to pull the machine out further from the wall so the lid would open all the way and stay open. I also have to get items out of the cabinet above before opening the lid because the lid interferes with the cabinet door.
I'm assuming the new machine cleans as well as the old and I think that, even though it's not an "energy efficient approved" machine that it will be more efficient with the "sense" button which decides how large the load is and evidently adjusts water usage and time allotment. I suppose I'll find out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The big problem is the machine has so many features but no user manual that describes how to use them. Have had some trouble figuring out on our own. Would be nice to no more about the cycles and what they do for us. I interrupted a cycle the other day and had a heck of a time getting the machine to reactivate. Other than that, the machine is beautiful and does a nice job of cleaning the clothes.

Not Set Up Properly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HE machines are horrible. It barely does the job, doesn't fill with enough water, and doesn't spin as fast as you'd think a stainless steel tank would spin.
I had to put in a service call after the first load because it was banging against the sides during the final spin, despite being balanced. The service tech did a recalibration and rebalanced the tub so that the tank is balanced in the center of the machine. Working much better.
