This coffee maker makes great coffee! It gives you a choice to make it bold or not bold. I would’ve given a five star but whenever I pour my coffee and it always seems to drip out of the lip of the glass container onto my counter. Maybe I am pouring too fast! The plastic top has to be popped on and off to clean it and I’m afraid I’m going to break it every time I take it off or strip the tight seal. I wish there was a way they could design the top to be easily be removed for cleaning without feeling like you’re going to damage it. I do love the fact that it has the glass carafe with the heater below like they use in coffee shops. So much better than a metal craft because after a while the metal carafe coffee turns cold in this stays hot for hours. Pretty design, too! I do recommend this, even though I did not give it a five star.

Love this coffeemaker! There’s only one flaw. When you lift the lid to add water , the condensation on the inside of the lid drips behind the unit onto the countertop.

We bought this to replace an older Cuisinart 14 cup maker. It's very similar to the old one EXCEPT you really need to make sure the filter basket is pushed down until it kinda "clicks". If you don't, the coffee comes over the top of the filter and all over the counter. Our old Cuisinart didn't have this issue, and you could simply put it in place, add filter, add coffee and start brewing. However, with this newer model, ENSURE you click that filter basket down into place.

I love and respect Cuisinart's appliances. Never disappointed with whatever kitchen item I select. Look first at Cuisinart before purchasing another brand. The coffee maker is well designed, easy to set up and use, and it makes wonderful coffee.

I really like this coffee maker. It has all the features I need and brews great coffee. I particularly like the large carafe and adjustable time and temperature for the warming pad. I would have given 5 stars but the 1st one we bought stopped working after 18 months. However, customer service was prompt with a replcement at no charge. Just make sure to register the product nd record the serial number somewhere in case of an issue.

This is our second Cuisinart Coffeemaker, we are very happy with except for one minor issue.
After making a pot of coffee, sometime later when wanting to make another when opening the reservoir to add water and grounds the lid drips down the back of the unit, sometimes excessively. It seems to me that if you just moved the hinge to the top of the unit the water would run back into the reservoir without creating a mess.
