This was a replacement for an older Cuisinart coffee maker. After 10+ years of rugged use, it started to leak. Possibly user error but I decided to purchase a new one. If I outlive this coffee maker, I will definitely purchase another Cuisinart. It’s very user friendly. It’s selling feature is the temperature to which it heats the water. Nice and hot.

We've owned a couple of different coffee makers, this one we have now is far better than our last one. Our last one was 10yrs old, it was good don't get me wrong, it spung a leak shorted out, it's time for a new one. This one is better, mainly because of the hotter coffee... don't know how it's done but the wife and I like steaming hot coffee.
