The plastic part on the top of the carafe doesn’t tilt, it has to be taken off every time you get water to fill. It’s not a major problem, but poor design in my opinion. Also, the machine doesn’t come with even one charcoal filter. Pretty weak.

I love the look! Brews quickly and the bold feature gives a flavorful cup of coffee with slightly less grounds. I was hopefully but like every other coffee maker I have owned, I just can’t seem to pour without a small amount of liquid running down the side of the pot - thus my inability to give 5 star rating.

We love the quisinart 14 cup coffee maker because you can program it to make coffee at a certain time and it remains hot for up to 4 hrs. This is perfect for us as we awake different times in the morning and can pour a cup immediately. No waiting.

This is a very good purchase. I had another popular brand and this one has nicer controls, a tighter fitting lid which keeps steam inside. I use the bold setting. The unit makes excellent coffee.
