I'm happy with brewing flavor and coffee arrives very hot! I share annoyances mentioned that difficult to fully empty carafe of water on filling, and design of carafe traps contents in upper rim. Appreciate the features for small batches, temp and hold time adjustment, etc. Overall pleased but room to improve too.

We have used Cuisinart coffee pots for the past 20 or so years. This particular coffee pot was a replacement for one just like it. The 14-cup size is perfect for us. My wife drinks one cup and I drink the rest! We just love the coffee pot and especially that you can choose the temp at which to keep the coffee.

This cuisinart coffeemaker makes a crackling sound during the brew cycle, not overwhelming but pretty noisy, and my previous coffeemakers were close to silent during brewing. I'm told this is quite usual so if your kitchen & breakfast nook are nearby and you are sensitive to noise I might look elsewhere. Aside from that it does brew a delicious cup of coffee.
