Coffee is great, but it's a good thing I'm not trying to use the timer on this machine because the clock can't keep time. It gains an hour every day or two - weird.

I have used this Cuisinart 14cup coffeemaker for 6 weeks now. I have no complaints. I especially like that I can make small batches of coffee well due to the cone filter and the 1-4 setting. I find I prefer the bold setting for small batches. Be aware that the bold setting is a longer brew time. I also like being able to control how long the heating plate stays on (4hours max) and being able to turn off the beeping sound that indicates it’s done brewing. Be aware that the carafe is awkward for pouring water into the machine. I have a water filter pitcher that work great and also cuts down on build up of deposits.

Coffeemaker is reliable and capable. We like this style as we have given up the k-cup. We like drip coffee better, This machine does the trick. This replaces one that was almost identical that we broke the pot on.
Our only complaint about the coffee maker is that replacing the carafe is generally impossible (as models change) or cost prohibitive (that's why we replaced machine.) Our previous pot was 14 cup as well but carafes are different. There should be some cost effective standard for replacing carafe.

This undoubtedly the worst coffee maker I've owned. The clock doesn't keep time, in fact I set it for say 12 o'clock and in a few hours it has increased the time by several minutes and over time it gets faster and faster as much as 30 minutes. The clean light comes on the day after cleaning and comes on about every other day.

Bought a unit and the clock was running fast. In fact it was double the speed that it should have been. Called cuisinart and after having to cut the cord and waste the entire unit, they sent a new one. The replacement did the same thing! Now I'm waiting on my third and I do not have high hopes. I just want to set my brew time and have coffee ready in the morning.

It mealies a decent cup of coffee. It’s pretty slow to brew, but spits out decent coffee. Regular daily uses mean extreme amount of fingerprints and drips everywhere. Difficult to understand display setup and buttons easily pressed unintentionally. Wish it came with a stainless carafe. The glass ones are so delicate and ugly. Rate three and a half stars.
