This model not as good as previous one I have owned. Now on third one because of different problems. First one pump stopped working, 2nd one the blue lights would go out after 10 minuets of being on even though the pot was still on. Kohl's was good about replacing.

I purchased this to replace the same one we had. I've always had great luck with Cuisinart products. I was excited about the new feature that is supposed to keep the coffee hot for an extended period of time, since I like my coffee very hot. Unfortunately, I do not see any improvement in this feature- which is a bummer! Also, the coffee has tasted different- more bitter? I'm not sure what the issue is- maybe it's just me? or my measurement is off? I'm making it the same as I always have? I'm going to try a few different brands before I say this is a definite.

The programmability of the coffee maker is nice, really like the ability to adjust the heat. The pot itself sure leaves a lot to be desired. The lid does not flip up for easy filling of water and the spout is way too small, if you pour at any speed other than snails pace it make a mess.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a very good coffee maker. The controls are amazingly simple and straightforward, something rare for consumer products. The only thing I would like them to do better is the design of the top cover. If you just flip it up a little water on the underside drips down the back. It can be prevented by raising the lid partway and shaking jiggling it a little and then opening it the rest of the way.

Attractive machine with standard features. Great coffee which is hotter, temperature-wise that our previous coffee maker: a plus. No complaints. Very pleased with our new coffee maker.
