After a few weeks and several pots of coffee we have noticed a few problems. First of all the coffee just doesn’t taste quite right. Also it is the noisiest coffee maker and when the brewing stops it takes for ever to stop dripping. When you pull the pot out to pour it drips all over the hot plate. We have had good experience with other Cuisinart products but this one, not so much.

This coffee maker is really well-designed. The larger carafe - it holds 14 cups - has a shape that makes it seem less heavy. The handle is long, with plenty of room for your fingers. And, the spout doesn't drip onto the hot plate when you return the carafe to the coffee maker. The buttons are easy to program, and, of course, it makes good coffee. I also like the cone filters - I think they work better! The stainless sides of the coffee maker show fingerprints, so I bought some Weiman stainless wipes which clean and polish. Using an occasional wipe prevents fingerprinting.

It’s quiet and quick in making coffee. As far as ease of use, it is a bit challenging if you have to fit it under lower cupboards. The water reservoir is narrow and raising the top to add the water and coffee drips behind the hinged top and drips everywhere.
