This coffeemaker is perfect for us. My husband gets up about 5 am and makes 2 cups for himself. I get up about 7 am and make 6 cups for me. It was hard to find a coffeemaker that would do this. Also I prefer the cone filter over the pleated. But the best part is the coffee gets very hot. We had to microwave our coffee in our previous coffeemaker to get it hot.

We originally purchased this coffee maker because it holds 14 cups. We also liked that it had a "bold" brewing feature and a temperature setting for the carafe. It is important to note that our family drinks a lot of coffee so our coffee maker is on a lot. The original one we bought lasted about 6 months and then stopped heating up properly. We were able to get a new one under the warranty.
