This coffee maker is very easy to use and I especially like the auto program feature. I add the coffee and water the night before and touch the Auto Program button and that's all there is to it. We usually make a 10 cup pot and it's done in about 8 minutes. The carafe lid easily comes off so filling with water is a snap and the coffee pours nicely from the carafe.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would not buy again
I ran 1 only pot of water through it after I washed it and a code came up!
So I googled the code and google said to call company immediately and Do Not use the product !
I called and the representative told me to return it right away to where I bought it that code should not be coming up as we have fixed the defect!
Unplug it and return to store ASAP

I finally had to replace my favorite 15 year old Melita Coffeemaker. I was very reluctant but went with the 14 Cup Cousinart. The instructions were easy to find what I needed for programming and care, and it is working out great.
BEST FEATURES: Easy to setup programming for auto-brew in morning. Like the heating choices to keep the pot warm. 1 scoop of ground coffee = 1 unit on the pot...EZ to measure.

If fresh brewed coffee waiting for you when you wake up is your desire, then this coffee maker is the one you should own. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever and our unit expired after roughly 8 years of daily service. With a countless array of coffee makers to choose from, and after a thorough search, we purchased the slightly updated version of the unit we were replacing. Great coffee maker!

Sleek. Easy to use and program. Coffee tastes great and I'm so happy to have the water viewing widow as my last Cuisinart did not. Wish the marking on the caraffe were easier to read and I hope they won't wear off as my last ones did and also wish for the product to not need a change of charcoal filters every 60 days.
