This coffee maker makes the very best coffee. i always set it on the BOLD BREW and the coffee is just the way we like it! My wife and I love this coffee pot. One propblem we had, the previous coffee maker base plate rusted out so we purchased the identical Cuisinart. I only hope this base plate lasts for many years!!
