I purchased this 14 Cup Cuisanart Coffee Maker to replace my 11 year old 14 Cup Cuisanart Coffee Maker. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Since the original WAS broken, I simply ordered the same "updated" unit. The best news is that the machine makes coffee every bit as good and tasty as my initial purchase. Drips relatively quickly (but never fast enough in the morning, tho) and temperature control keeps the pot hot. The only sorta negative comment I have is that it seems to be louder than the original. More clicks and pops. Not terrible, just different. Overall, I am a happy customer.

I have used Mr. Coffee for many years but the last year+ it was making lousy coffee. I tried adjusting grounds, still nasty. Found that it wasn't heating the coffee very hot. I would have to microwave the cup to get a hot cup of coffee. I checked out the Cuisinart and keurig. Their ratings have fallen off so I went with Cuisinart. Glad I did.

This coffee maker performed just like the reviews had indicated. The flavor of coffee was not bitter or too strong. Our previous coffee maker was a percolator style and not only was the coffee bitter when compared to the Cuisinart but coffee ground showed up in the cups and you could not drink the last sip as the residue was like mud. This coffee maker had no grounds in our cups and you could drink the whole cup with no residue in bottom of cup. This coffee maker has some additional nice features that we have not utilized yet but are anxious to try them especially the feature where you can brew only 1-4 cups of coffee. The automatic shut off feature which you can set for 1-4 hours is a great safety feature. Now we do not have to worry about whether we unplugged the coffee maker or not.

I use this coffee maker daily and have not had any issues. I love how hot it keeps my coffee and the auto on/off feature. I’m probably not using all the options it offers but I like having them for if/when I may need them.
