Several really good things to know 1) the coffee brews quickly and is beautifully hot 2) you can pour water directly in using a coffee cup or glass without missing 3) the carafe is easy to clean

Coffee maker works great. Have had it for a month or so now and use it every day with no issues. All of the parts that need to be cleaned are easily removable. Other reviews had stated that the water blew the coffee out of the filter when brewing, this happened the first use when I made only 2 cups but has never happened since and works as expected. Other reviews say filling the water is inconvenient, I have never had an issue beyond a tiny bit of water, maybe an ounce, that I cannot pour from the pot into the back water tank, I leave it in the pot or dump it into the sink and it works out fine.
Overall great coffee maker that looks great too.

It works very well. My only complaint is how you fill it. The reservoir is awkwardly located and the openings are small. Because of the lid, it is difficult to empty the pot into it. I'm 6-feet tall and I have to reach up pretty high to tilt the pot enough to fill the reservoir when the maker is on a standard height counter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
