not our 1st Cuisinart Coffee Maker. Overall good, w/ a few annoying issues. First, the charcoal filter 'stick' keeps 'floating' out of it's moorings when you pour water into the coffee maker. Second, the basket holder can be challenging to full snap-down into position. The lid with still close and it will brew coffee ... all over the countertop ... as the majority of the water will run around the basket.

I love everything about this coffee maker except for one design flaw - pouring water into the back compartment is almost impossible using the carafe, because the fixed angle of the lid blocks the carafe from emptying. I have to use a smaller measuring cup to do it.
