Excellent coffee maker until the rubber tube inside dries out and cracks. Then water leaks out the bottom. This has happened with four of our 14 cup Cuisinarts and all have been replaced for free. Don't understand why the company doesn't correct this problem. Believe the longest one has lasted is 18 months.

I returned it after two weeks. Twice I tried making 8 cups of coffee and both times it overflowed. Something about the coffee grounds. I previously had the same one, a 12 cup and never had that problem. I had it for 8 years. Was very disappointed. Can’t Imagine trying to make 14 cups. I probably would of flooded out my kitchen. Very very disappointed. I have used Folgers coffee for years and never had a problem. Maybe you should of left well enough alone.

Easy to use and looks sleek. The initial cups of coffee has a slight plastic-y tasted but that went away after we used it about 3 times. Coffee is now delicious. The bold setting is perfect,
