Can someone explain to me, how you get 14 cups. I measured 8 4oz cups and then filled the coffee pot. The water went to the 13 cup line on my pot. As people use different cup sizes, it would be better to mark the pot with ounces.

Makes the smoothest tasting coffee! I’ve used this unit at a friend’s home for many years and always wondered why their coffee tasted so much better than mine. I thought perhaps it was the coffee itself. What I learned was it was this coffee maker. I use filtered water from the refrigerator and the additional charcoal water filter in this unit really makes the coffee flavor amazing and smooth.

Our second 14 cup Cuisinart drip coffee maker. Bought a second one when the first pump started acting up. It makes a great cup of coffee. We also use it for tea with the gold mesh filter.

My old Cuisinart 12c coffee maker of 12yrs finally gave out. Loved it. Ordered a 14c Cuisinart and seems like I'm going to really enjoy this one also. Coffee is extra hot..love it, timer is set for 3hrs on auto. Brews great.

Only issue we have is that the coffee maker drips if we remove the caraffe before the brewing has not finished brewing. Apparently doesn’t seal off completely.

Is made out of more plastic,...means less durability. We like our coffee strong,...needs more grounds,...splashes on underside hot water holes. Guessing no engineering answers for that. Like the more holes in this one,..brews better. Could use deeper filter basket.
