This is the third time I have bought this model, the previous two worked great. I have used this new one 5 times and twice it did done drain into coffee pot well and I had a mess and lots of coffee grounds in the coffee. I am being careful at this point on the coffee pot centered well in the machine, never had to be careful in the past. I had a similar issue with another model (from another store which I returned for this same issue). I will move to a different brand if this continues to be an issue. Shame, I loved the two previous ones , the burners eventually had been scratched up which is why I replaced to begin with, but they lasted 3-5 years.

Great coffee maker replacing a much older cuisinart. My only complaint has been when lifting the lid to remove the grounds some of the condensation under the lid exits the back of the unit and drips down the back of the unit to the counter top. The little drip catch flange on the back needs to be just a bit larger. Other than the minor annoyance of wiping up a bit of water it makes great coffee and from that perspective would give it 5 Stars. Love the fact that the annoying "beeps" can be muted.
