I bought this coffeemaker about two weeks ago to replace a a similar Cuisinart coffeemaker that had lasted several years. The new one holds more coffee and I really like the digital controls and stainless steel color. Another reviewer was concerned that the plastic lid on the carafe would not be durable-but I had no problems with the previous lid on my old coffeemaker. Another reviewer said it was difficult to pour the water into the reservoir because the top of the coffeemaker was in the way. It is no problem to pour the water in directly from the side of the reservoir. Nice upgrade from my old Cuisinart coffeemaker!
