[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After many years of faithful service, my previous Cuisinart programmable coffeemaker failed. Whether you are new to Cuisinart's programmable coffeemakers, or an experienced user, the 14 cup coffeemaker is easy to use with controls that are intuitively obvious, and just as easy to clean and maintain as previous units. Be advised, though, that unlike previous models, this model does not grind the beans.
As before, the maker sounds five chimes when it has finished brewing. If I were to suggest any modifications for future coffeemakers, it would be to include a small light in addition to the chimes since other activities sometimes obscure the sound of the chimes leaving you to wonder if the coffee is ready.. Of course after a reasonable amount of time, you can assume it is.
In short, I am very pleased with this coffeemaker and I look forward to many more years of enjoyable mornings with perfect coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this at Christmas time and finally unboxed it. It was to replace a very old Cuisinart 12cup maker who had seen better days. I must say, this coffee pot is much improved over my last one. It keeps the coffee much hotter (so I dont have to microwave it coming out of the pot). It has 3 different heat settings. It was super easy to set up. The other thing I like is it auto turns off in 4 hours instead of 2.
