I've had it about a month now, and it works very well. Single nit-picky complaint is the view window to see the water level is in a bad place. I fill with the pull-out hose from my kitchen faucet and can't see the gage very well to tell when to turn it off. No big deal, but ...

Brewing take awhile to get going even on 1-4 cup setting. Also the compartment to fill up the water is difficult because the lid interferes with pouring. I often spill my water. The beep is good tone. I love the color of the unit as it blends in with my appliances perfectly. The lid is on larger side soI do have to pull out machine when leaving it to dry out after brewing. It fits under cabinets when in use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hands down, best home coffee maker I have ever owned. Easy to use, 14 cup carafe is fantastic, can set heat plate for the carafe so no luke warm coffee. I have had 0 grounds in my cup, and there have been no mishaps. Brews fairly quick, and unit is super easy to use and clean.
