I inherited my first Cuisinart 14 cup coffeemaker and loved it. It had been heavily used so its remaining life was limited (water leaked from the bottom.) I bought a new one (on sale) and then a second one (full price) as a gift. It is a handsome feature on my kitchen counter, is easy to use and clean, and the coffee is consistent and delicious ( I use a name brand decaf coffee.)

The coffee pot looks nice on my counter and it makes decent coffee. I would not recommend this pot because: 1-the cover on the carafe didn’t flip up, it was difficult to remove. 2-there was no place to hide the cord behind the machine. 3-it was very DIFFICULT to pour water from the carafe into the reservoir. 4-pouring water/coffee out of the carafe was not efficient. 5-I could not get all the water/coffee out of the carafe when pouring.
