Excellent machine, easy to program with lots of options. This also is the first coffeemaker whose drip stop actually works. The warming plate also seems to be less prone to deteriorate although time will tell. Best of all of course is that the coffee tastes excellent and the temp is held nicely for two hours.

We purchased the Cuisinart 14 cup programmable coffee maker in preparation for house guests. Previously we had used one of the single cup coffee makers and were very disappointed with the lack of flavor. After experimenting with the first pot in the Cuisinart, we discovered the "Bold" feature for the second pot. This was the flavor we were looking for and was pleasing to us and our guests. Every pot afterwards not only brews quickly, it adds lots of flavor and keeps the pot perfectly hot. This is a feature rich coffee maker that is well constructed and affordable. Go Cuisinart.

Very pleased with this coffeemaker. I don’t use the programmable feature, but I like the fact that I can choose “bold” when I want extra flavor. I like the automatic two-hour shutoff, and I like the ability to turn off the chime that sounds when the coffee is ready. It seems to be well-made, as the lid is sturdier than the cheaper brand that just conked out on me after a few months. I use a paper filter with the reusable filter, and have not noticed a loss of flavor at all.
