I'm a big fan of Cuisinart coffeemakers. The primary reason for my choosing their brand and this "Perfect Temp" model, in particular, is the fact that it's one of the few on the market that verifiably heats the water hot enough to reach the temperature recommended by experts for the optimal tasting cup of coffee, which is between 195 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit. Aside from that, I like the aesthetics of the design as well as the features. The black stainless steel color of the particular model I bought looks really nice in my kitchen and goes well with my other appliances. I also like the fact that they have a setting for making only 4 cups of coffee as well as a "bold" setting, both of which I use. My last one, which was also a Cuisinart, lasted 16 years of daily use. They make quality products.

I used it for the first time soon after purchase. I love the design and the taste of the coffee is great. I can tell the difference between the generic coffee maker and this new one. It is so smooth and evenly brewed. You won't go wrong with this one.

I bought this coffee maker the day before thanksgiving because the carafe from my old coffee maker broke the day before thanksgiving and we had family coming to stay. Once I used this maker I had no idea what I was missing out on. My old one didn’t stay hot long enough and the carafe always leaked when pouring a cup. This machine is fairly simple but it’s done correctly. Very happy with my purchase, would recommend

We love the programmable brew option for those mornings when we have to be up and out of the house early. The quality of the beverage it brews is very good. My husband likes the Bold option on winter mornings!

It's nice but lid on the carafe is hard to put on and take off. Plus the filter holder has some kind of long piece at the bottom of it that makes removing the filter holder tight and tricky to remove after brewing finished. (My previous Cuisinart Coffee maker did not have this.)
